Other than the big screen, I agree. The screen is a big miss IMHO. I seriously would not buy the car (and didn't wait for it because of the screen and the powertrain). I bought a Telluride a couple of weeks ago. Would have considered a CX-90 if I could have found a Turbo S to look at/drive.
This is something that happens with glass sometimes. It can not be 100% avoided unless they use laminated glass all around (maybe you advocate for this?). If you knock a glass over on a granite countertop it will likely shatter and you may cut your hand on it. Is the manufacturer of the glass...
It seems to be really random IMHO. I had '19 and '21 CX-5s and drove them for a total of 57k miles. Never had an issue. I see this issue on the forum from time to time, but it doesn't seem to be a rampant problem in the CX-5 anyway (otherwise there wouldn't be such long gaps between...
Plus, I would expect to see others popping up here saying, yes, I live in AZ, NV, NM and I had the same issue. There is something off on your car. I felt the same way about the front brakes on my '21. It had a repeated issue with a brake shudder which did not happen on my 19 with smaller front...
Really strange you would have two motors fail in such a short time. I mean, a 2023 car is on its third motor- and the second one was installed less than 6mths ago. I wonder if there is something off in the housing, or somewhere else, that makes the motor go bad. I will be interested to see if...
I don't understand how this would create V6 to I4 swaps. 3.0l is a very common size for a V6. Interesting Mazda chose to go with a 3.3l I6 with this in mind.
Very interesting. So no issues with your front rotors as of yet? I planned to have my rear rotors and pads changed at 30k as my dealer said the pads were almost gone. I bought new rotors and pads and had an indie come to the house to do the job. He said the rear pads still had 50% left, but...
I have seen that message in mine before, but not on a regular basis. All sensors have issues sometimes. You should try a new Honda if you think the Mazda's automatic braking is bad. I had a 16 RDX which slammed on the brakes all the time when I was not close to cars at all. It was very...
Considering this the first time I have seen such a post on this forum or mazdaforum it can't be very common. He said I should look on more forums? Where? These are the most heavily trafficked Mazda forums. If it was going to show up, it would be on these forums. I hope he continues to...
Shocker that the OP hasn't come back. LOL. He thinks there are many others with this issue? His post about it is the first I have seen on any Mazda forums.
I would personally do fluids- brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential/transfer (if AWD) and likely spark plugs as they are pretty old at this point. Make sure the battery is less than 3 yrs old as well.
