I've used and can recommend both Rain-X Bug Remover (green fluid) and Rain-X 2-in-1 (orange fluid) for years now and across multiple vehicles, including a couple different Mazdas and a 90's era Ford pickup. Never had any trouble from the fluid resulting in damage to paint, windshield seals or...
There's a workaround that I use that adds only a bit of extra effort:
Ensure in the Privacy settings on your phone for the Microphone that the Google Maps app can access it. If you already use your voice successfully with Google Maps, this setting is already properly set.
In the car, evoke...
Coming from my 2016, it took me a while to get used to the new location for the total odometer. I went through the same discovery process of thinking it was still located with the trip odometer only to realize where it actually was after a quick user manual check-in. I still find it a bit of...
Here's also a similar Mazda 3 issue (older model however) and the culprit in that situation turned out to be that motor control module/resistor:

There's also a module which controls fan speed that's a potential source of issues.
There's at least one other thread, although not that useful, started by someone with what sounds like a similar issue:

Other than the whole Zoom Zoom effort, I feel like Mazda never really has pushed establishing a clear-cut and defined branding at least in the US. Word of mouth to date has kept sales sufficient for them here, but I really think that they need to step up their advertising and branding game...
Count me in on the same question. I have the black titanium door sill plates installed, so leaning towards the matching shifter trim. I recall comments either on here or on the product reviews on Amazon that the shifter covers once in place stick up too far from the surface for some people's...
FYI The 2019 CX-5 in fact does have Advanced Smart City Brake Support (forward) with pedestrian detection, based upon what I'm seeing in the Spec Deck (standard on all trims but the Sport)...and which activated the day I drove my current one home and freaked me out a bit. (wow)
My experience: 2010 Mazda6 auto wipers worked perfectly until I had to replace the windshield due to a crack. Both my CX-5s worked/work well too, with the occasional weirdness or inconsistent behavior, but nothing I find completely annoying. Given the way these type of systems typically work...
FYI on my white 2016, the dealer had already put on 3M paint protection film on various areas of the car, including the exterior door cups, before I bought it. The film on the hood definitely helped protect the paint against stone and other road debris damage, but I grew to hate the door cup...
Mine feels solid and without any movement, in both the upright and inclined positions. So, something's off with yours it seems. Did you try releasing down all three back seat sections and putting them back into the upright position? Maybe a misalignment or something isn't allowing that side...
Just note that your original link and my links were for aftermarket spoilers that fit over the OEM parts--which, of course, will cover any damage on yours.
I think black would look great with your (I'm assuming) blue vehicle if it is easier to find an OEM Mazda replacement in that color...
Oh! This is the factory body part that is having the clear coat issues? If so, I also saw on eBay the OEM Mazda parts for that section of the car, assumedly salvage since they were various body paint colors.
You all make me laugh! I'm know there are wonderful natural areas to visit in the northwest and VA too! LOL
The trip to Key West can be a crap shoot, but I've averaged 3 trips a year for the past, oh, say 6 years and only had one really negative experience. The challenge is that parts of the...
For what it is worth among all the others chiming in here, I average with my 2.5T AWD Signature about 22 mpg for the majority of my everyday driving, but that's significantly local and very short trips (I work from home so this is errand or eating at restaurant-based drives). A recent 4.5 to 5...
Another vote to replace via eBay and used/salvaged parts. Not sure what year/trim you have, but the entire right side assembly runs anywhere from <$100 up to $350-ish for the current gen LED versions.
I do also see first gen headlight covers only, but no idea of the fit or how difficult it may...
I too would be a bit skeptical of that, but it is possible that the distance span is the same on both era vehicles. Then again, I'm seeing other listings with what appear to be identical products and photos, but only for the newest Gen vehicles...
I've occasionally looked at that same type of design myself, both for my previous 2016 and now my 2019. I like the fact that it is pretty subtle, but would love to also see it in body color to get a better idea of how that might look. In the long run, I don't think in the true aerodynamic...
I find them perfectly comfortable and supportive, but as mentioned by Anchorman, there are a good number of others who agree with your complaint. I recently took a 5 hour driving trip each way and had no issues after only a single 15 minute stop on one of the drives.
I generally prefer firmer...
