I've never seen any Tach info on my HUD....
As for the clicking and clunk noises, I have the same issue. Easy to replicate when you drive slowly, stop , shift into R, and accelerate slightly. I'm going to make sure I ride with a tech before giving it to them.
That's a pretty fair review, spot on or many points. Look the CX-9 isn't for everyone, and it's going to never compete with Pilot or Highlander on sales volume - You put a Toyota badge on a Fiat SUV and it will sell 100K of those a year...
I've not gotten stuck at the Loading NAV screen but I have had a few blank screens upon start, a failed backup camera screen where is just shows a gray screen with the backup sensor icons, and a stuck home screen.
Nice to see a good number of MA owners in this forum..
Happened yesterday to me as well, a unique Chime I had heard before and it popped up in the HUD.
Except that I had both hands on the wheel and was not drifting... I have a '17 GT
Interesting vehicle - it's an Outback on steroids, but it looks better than the PoS B9 Tribeca :)
Subura owners will flock to it, as Suburu owners have a super loyal following. I considered the Legacy for a bit for an AWD sedan. Curious to the see the pricing and the driving dynamics... CVT...
Well, has anyone in this forum had any of the issues that CR reported? I have a few issues with the screen not displaying, but no issues with rust.... or brakes... however I just recently noticed a noise when braking on low speed when shifting from R to D...
Wow, my local Mazda dealer charges $35 or less... One thing they did mention is that they use a synthetic blend on the CX-9, so make sure whomever does the oil change to pay attention to the type of oil.
Purchase - April 2017
Cement splash on right side doors when driving near a construction area. When I tried to remove it, I thought it was dirt, and I have some swirls on the rear right doors :(
The hump is rather odd in the back considering the my previous generation didn't have it. I've never sat in the back of my CX9, except in the show room - I'm always driving or in the passenger seat and my kids two car seats are back there... it's definitely not designed to be roomy, and I'm fine...
Never looked underneath the CX-9 like that, thanks for the great pics... 20 seems really low, maybe it's a typo?
Other than a some issues withe my screen not displaying audio or the backup cam 3 different times, I've have zero issues with my '17 GT that I've owned since April...
That sucks - can you go to another dealer? The dealer I have is excellent for service - in fact, that is a huge reason why I bought my second CX-9. The dealer has other brands in the area, but their Mazda service is by far the best of of the other brands...
You didn't go for the XC-90 b/c it wasn't reliable, is that right?
That's an interesting list - all three row, some german SUVs, some domestic brands, and some asian brands... no Highlander or Pathfinder?
The german ones - can't get them under $50K decently spec'd so it's hard to compare.. MDX...
Thin skinned, boy you seem to know it all eh?
I'm simply asking what your top 10 SUVs are so we can discuss. Obviously CX-9 is not in there, so I'm wondering which ones are. All I hear is you bashing the CX-9... so enlighten us... or are you just a troll?
Did you try driving a Touring which has 18" tires? It's less stiff, but not amazingly better. I came from the previous gen GT so the '17 GT is more comfy to me..
It's definitely slow.. I use a 2A USB/Cigarette adapter instead.. and I wish the front cigarette adapter was also powered when the car is off... only the rear one is, and I got an extended adapter, and pulled it under the carpets to power my kids dual rear LCD screens.
I don't get why he's the only one (or a just a few) ppl who who don't own a CX-9 but continues to whine about it... You got your Sorrento - so are you on the Sorrento forums and being active, or just here?? Confused as to what you are trying to add here...
How about you list your top 10...
