There isn't a way to prevent battery usage in any drivetrain. I wish there was a way to lock it out to save it. I suppose if you put it into Sport Mode, the ICE is always on.

With the built in NAV, you get Sirius XM Traffic included for 3 years, and I do see the different colors. Most of the time, I'm using Android Auto so my Google Maps are overlayed and I see the Google traffic info. Can you share some screen shots?
