It will HELP lessen it.
When I picked up my Sig in April, I had this happen at least a couple times a week.
Some tips:
1) Get it updated to 335. WHY the dealer delivered it without updating it bewilders me.
2) Let the system load completely. Don't plug you phone in to the Carplay/Android...
Yeah, thanks to everyone who pointed it out - I had looked at the PDF brochure online and noticed the difference.
This is for a co-worker's Dad, so I wanted to be sure.
I'm very surprised.
Musta had a bunch of 2.5L non-CD engines left over from the previous year and decided to bundle them...
Pass on them all.
For paint protection, go see a local tint shop (do your research - they aren't all the same!) and get paint protection film applied to at LEAST the front of your bumper and at least 18-20" (more if u can afford it) of your hood. I got mine done for about 450$.
As for the...
I bet this guy you talk of also thinks the Door Close button on elevators ACTUALLY closes the door earlier than it normally would.
I have a friend who works in the elevator business, and he said some of them do have door close buttons but most of the older ones its just a button with no real...
I've had that probably 4-5 times since I got the car in April. Sometimes turning the car off for an hour or so seems to fix it too.
Yeah, they won't have a resolution. I can almost guarantee you. Mazda points at SXM, SXM points at Mazda. lol
It probably doesn't cost them out of their own pocket, but you be sure that there are incentives from Corporate to reduce or prevent warranty work from occuring if it is not a safety issue.
Companies are always looking to reduce cost, and one of those ways is through what THEY deem unnecessary...
Its important to know that Mazda does NOT manufacture the SiriusXM module. That is proprietary hardware manufactured by SiriusXM.
I believe the issue is more on the SiriusXM side. I think when they update their hardware remotely sometimes it messes with the Mazda Infotainment system...
Yeah, I should have gone over his head. Unfortunately,it was after their regular business hours and I could see the Service Managers' office was dark and they were gone for the day.
I'm going to give them one more chance. If I don't feel satisfied, I'll go back to the local shop I used...
Hey guys,
On the Canadian website, the GX (Base model) does not indicate that it has Cylinder Deactivation.
Is this the case? Or did they just omit it??
Thanks!
Hey guys,
Today I sat idling a little more than I typically would in a drive through, and noticed that the AC on my 2019 Signature seems to.. be rather loud and really kicks on so much that it's noticeable.
Does anyone else notice that their AC compressor (or .. whatever it is!) kicks on...
The update seriously cut down on the # of issues I was having. It would mess up a LOT before the update.. Once the update was installed, my # of issues cut back dramatically, UNTIL the last week.
Last week, I started having complete reboots of the infotainment system. "Black screen of...
I had that issue - check your version of the Infotainment - is it on 70.00.335C ?
check that - I had that issue you are having a LOT before the upgrade to 70.00.335C
SiriusXM is always updating their hardware. It*s completely conceivable that the hardware in our model year has new components or software.
I*m in the same position as you. I*ve had 3-4 Sirius receivers over the years and never had any issues.
I have a friend who has a grand Cherokee...
I FIRMLY believe this is the issue.
It doesn*t make sense to be a hardware issue.
I*m sure we*ve all had random reboots here and there, but mine have escalated over the past two weeks to daily, sometimes multiple daily reboots.
If it was a hardware issue, we ALL wouldn*t be...
Yeah, there are threads all over the internet.. facebook, reddit, here about this.
As I said in another thread, I think it has something to do with an update SiriusXM did to their module in the car. They get pushed over the air and are usually unnoticeable to us.. My old Mazda6 used to get...
I'm thinking it has to do with a update that Sirius pushed to their module.
I've owned several Sirius radios both portable AND in cars, and occasionally those radios would receive an 'update' from Sirius.
It's IMPOSSIBLE that HUNDREDS of people ALL started having very similar issues...
