Had ours in to check the brake noise, it was squealing only at low speed light breaking. I had lubed the brakes earlier and the noise had gone away then came back. Got new front pads under warranty @ 17,000 miles. TSB # 04-006/18. We will see how long they stay quiet.

I lubed the brakes myself, took about an hour. Just wanted to see what was going on with my own eyes. I would assume that dealer would cover it, however they may consider it brake maintainence.

Had some squealing on our 2017 GT at 12k miles. Removed pads which had over 80% of pad left. Lubed everything and now they are quiet. Looked like pad was rubbing on the stainless hardware.

If the new resistor was run for any length of time (>2 min) without it being in its factory location it most likely damaged it. The factory location pulls air over the resistor to cool it. There is a thermal cut out fuse that would blow, inside the resistor if it reaches an unsafe temperature.

Agreed, There were just two there with distributor plates. Could have been added accessories, but not aftermarket.
