I got brand new 1st gen last year. Being in the desert, having a tint made a difference. I have the 3M Crystalline, though limited to 20% due to tint restrictions here.
better start checking the joint, I suppose the damage does not happen overnight so there will be some fatigue on the surrounding area if it is about to fail.
that seemed like the starter solenoid had some delays disconnecting the motor, dragging it for a while before disconnecting...good thing it is fixed now.
Thanks for this information, My car is less than a year old, may I will give it a few more months before attempting to clean it. (I successfully banned chocolates on the car but failed to do so with biscuits)
One workaround would be to program one of the buttons to the furthest possible position so you just press it everytime you want to go out...not the best way though.
Im not sure if this has been tackled before, has anyone removed the plastic cover for the 2nd row seat guide rail?

How about PPF (Paint Protection Film)? They are being offered here as part of a package (Bumper, headlights, fogs, sidemirrors and door edges)
They are a bit pricey though.
