I would be careful with wire in case you pierce the hose. You need to research this, but I heard on the radio that the time honored solution is to blow it out with compressed air. I imagine you would use the attachments I have circled in red, or possible one of the smaller attachments.
This has nothing to do with any of the questions, but I always like to do a brake fluid exchange after a couple of years. If you trust your dealer to do it, I would consider the service. I would also say you do not have to use the dealer if you do it yourself or have a trusted independent.
I have not researched it much, but have heard on the radio that a little compressed hair is enough to blow out the drains, usually. It was a 1990’s repeat of the The Car Guys on NPR...
I would use my little 2 gallon air compressor if I had the same problem, but I have never had a car with a...
NOT me. I did not experience it!
It was a complaint from the wife, and I do believe it was an issue as she had to hold her hand up to block the glare. It only lasted a minute as the road and sun changed
2021 CX5 Signature has satin chrome trim around front dash vents and are tied together by a single horizontal strip. The section above the glove box can provide a very disruptive distracting driver sun glare at certain times when the sun is low on horizon. Anyone notice this and have a...
20 mins is great!
Try 1.5 hours for my 19 Subaru WRX and over 30 mins to update the car from a USB stick. I am told it is inefficient Harman software. And let me tell you OTA updates via WiFi — don’t even try it!
This can be true, but you can also match the brightness to some extent by matching lumen output and choosing as low a color temp as possible. 10-15 years ago, it used to be LEDs were too dim and too cool, and finding a high lumen, low color temp LED was difficult. It should be easier now, and...
This has probably been discussed already, but when we bought our 2014 CX5 Grand Touring, one of the first upgrades besides license plate LEDs, was running light LEDs. I had to get a couple of pair from eBay because the first ones burned out, however, I have used the last pair for over 7 years...
I am sorry, but you really need to bite the bullet and get 4 new tires, especially if you live north of Toronto, as in your tag line. I know new P255/50R20 tires will be painful, and if you don't want to get winter tires, not sure what the provincial rules are, I would think a 3PMSF rated tire...
For our 2014 CX5 I went nuts and purchased $100 of Chinese made stainless steel sill protectors, inner and outer. The outer worked great, as advertised, although I added more 3M doubled sided foam tape from Home Depot, the strongest then available I think 20lbs per lineal inch.
The inners with...

I would look at this from WeatherTech
Looks like custom cut PPF
CX5 scratch protection
I had not seen this until after I had PPF sill and door cup protectors put on
