OK, got the Corksport led kit monday, installed yesterday. 11 led kit even includes the vanity mirror lamps and the trunk...took little over a half hour to install...awesome!!!!
I have 1700 miles on my touring with automatic, i am averaging near 31 with some babying and thats with the ac on approx 80 percent of the time...i do put the right foot into it now and then. I use the computer average and current fuel status stuff and it does help me obtain better results...and...
Looks great! Do you have a pic of the rear of the car from further back? I think the black plastic is a little tacky too, but maybe to give the illusion of width???? Curious to see from the distance how it looks...thanks
Hi Quizo,
I would definitely get the Tech package if you can swing it....but if your budget doesn't allow, do the right thing..you can add stuff later. I bought a Touring about a month ago(my budget wouldnt allow for the Grand Touring, just couldnt afford it) and it came with the Tech...
I have had my Touring 6 with Tech package for just over two weeks now....I am really happy with this vehicle, it does so many things well.....i traded in my 2009 mazda5 touring and they paid it off and gave me a decent trade in allowance, plus the $1000 loyalty from Mazda....really didn't think...
I live near Raleigh, work in Clayton and theres a light blue 2014 6 in the parking lot next to my place of work....noticed it about two weeks ago...beautiful, glance at it just about every workday. I have been valiently fighting the itch to buy one, but finally succumbed to the temptation last...
I recently installed the 8" 50 watt bazooka in my 2009 mazda5, stock 6 speaker system. Did exactly what i was hoping, added bass and rear prescence to the overall sound. Had to turn the bass level waaaay down. Works really well.
Replaced the Conti DWS 225-45's with 33,000 miles. Car sounded like a rear hub bearing was going out, when you could hear it through all the noise. They were also cupped, followed every paving overlap in the road and were just plain shot. Discount Tire installed Pirelli P7's(a gamble for me as i...
Ok, i installed the Konis for the rear last night...set them at middle position. Wow! As i suspected, the KYB's were not even close to the ride of the stock shocks and really left the rear end of the car feeling loose like it needed bushings or something. I am running 225/45 Conti dws at 36...
OK, i ordered the rear Koni yellows today......can't wait to get the kybs out!!!!
Thanks njaremka for your remarks and i will get back with my two cents.
Sounds like you were running them at the softest setting?????
Very interested in this......i blew a rear shock at 60,000 miles in my 2009 mazda 5, replaced them with KYB's and am not satisfied. The stock shocks did a better job, but are not durable. I had Koni FSD's and yellows in mind.
I have boiled it down to buying the stock shocks again or Koni...
Looks good with the megan springs. I have 2009 and after blowing a rear shock at 60,000 miles and replacing with kyb's.....i am not happy. The stock shocks were firmer. So now i am looking at all the options, koni yellows, sport springs..
What are you running for shocks and what kind of ride do...
