If you take the manifold off again ,you will a new gasket , Take a look if there is some of the stud left ,if there is them it is reasy ,just get a pair of vice grips and grab the stud and turn it out . If the studsa are flush then you have to drill the center of the stud and use an easy out to...
Dont try and start the engine what ever you do you could have hydolocked the engine ( water in the cylinders ) take out the plugs , and see if there is water in the cylinders . If there is you may have bent the connecting rods .
That is the worst case senerio .
I do like Scoobies but i think this edition of the wrx just doesnt cut it for me . The wrx was a noticable car ,the 2008 is just to gernaric for me ,It just doesnt pop for me

You ar going to have to go to the auto wreckers to get one. I am in the same boat ,I broke my fuel gauge needle . I have search and found some on ebay for about 80-100 bucks.
Pay the piper or make one as was already said , Mazda and performance together mean expensive . Not alot of people are modding Mazdas compared to other cars ,the companies have to recoupe their R&D costs somehow and we pay the price
The e brake is the adjuster for the drum ,you have to push the pawl in to release the shoes pushing them in at the same time . once the shoes are pushed in the drum will slid on , once you have both drums on ,pull the e brake handle a couple of time to adjust the shoes
