Quick question, do you have a write up on how you wired this into the car. I’m interested in wiring some additional light into the trunk and was wondering how did you wired up so this way it’s only on when the trunk lift gate is open.
Yes, the Mazda with the 2.5l sky, active engine, more precisely with cylinder deactivation solenoid causing engines Fail. But as mentioned above, these type of issues tend to show themselves within 20k to 40k miles, which is still under the factory warranty.
I understand Mazda produced a couple...
sounds like inlet pipe may help compare to the factory, which is a crush bend plastic.
But in the long run without a tuner, you’re not gonna really see much of a benefit other than some slight throttle response on Tippin. An intake which doesn’t offer much on throttle Tippin, but with the...
Time to set up a GoPro underneath the car to try and identify where the clunking noise is coming from. It’s probably a used bushing, but it could be a multitude of different things, including the mounts for the diff, which I’ve seen back when Mazda had the Mazda speed six.
Well, I got some good news turns out the settings on the lock and amp were incorrect after working with another shop, as well as Crutchfield, no more cutting out things seem to be working well and able to turn up the volume as much as I want without it cutting the base.
Next post will have more...
On a turbo car intakes don’t really do much, whether warm air or cold air. That’s why you see so many big turbos with pods directly attached to the turbo or just a screen attached to the turbo. I remember seeing a video online where they talked about how Intakes really don’t add much in the way...
Modern CX five has active grills for just that purpose. They closed to help the car warm up faster but once the car gets moving, they open up don’t remember where I’ve read it but I believe it was in a brochure or something in the forms.

I have a turbo model too. If the temperature is above 40 to 50° I rarely give it more than a few minutes for the RPM to settle in. Single degree temperature or if you’re so in the car parked overnight in those cold weather temps I definitely give it a little bit longer to warm up. I love remote...
Yeah. I have the keyless energy when the battery in key fob low.
About the other random issues that you’re having I can’t tell you how many people that have suffered weird, electrical, gremlins and lo and behold it was the battery even people with cars that are relatively a year whatever short...
A lot of these problems can be resolved by replacing the battery. The batteries only good for supposedly three years so it might be worth the hassle to go buy an aftermarket battery and see if the issue resolves most offer 38 moneyback guarantee. Also consider replacing the battery in the remote...
Why not reach out to the seller and offer a step-by-step with images showing it does work for the American market. Perhaps I’ll give you 20-30% discount or at the very least cover the shipping. Plus you could also convince him if it works to do a group bye Because I know I enjoyed the CX 30 I...
If you really care about the BMS intake, just take it to a custom shop. I’m sure they’ll be able to modify it to fit your needs. If not, There are plenty of aftermarket solutions if BMS is unwilling and custom shops are to expensive.
Hey guys, I had a shop, install my aftermarket JBL Club A600 sub and and LOC LC2I Pro into the car with a JBL Passive Sub in to the spare tir. When the original installers put it in, they wired directly from the pigtail off the OeM subwoofer (before th reconnect or in the trunk) even though I...
I am running WeatherTech floor liners. In the past, I used all weather mats in all my cars, but in snowy/muddy/salty situations something would always find its way onto the carpet. With these weather tech floor liners I don’t have that issue anymore. Easy to clean and they have the built in...
Lol. I use my voice dictation and it doesn’t always get it right. But I can assure you the sub that comes with the bose subwoofer is weak. The rest of the speakers sound pretty good, which is why I upgraded the subwoofer.
Thanks for your input but no need to talk trash. And speaking of foolish all DI engines (including Mazdas) have carbon buildup except for DI engines with port injection/meth injection to clean the valves.
When I mentioned driving like I stole it, I meant driving in sport mode or paddle shifter...
On MyMazda speed three I went with mazdaspeed forged lighter rims and wider tires, and definitely noticed the car was faster/acceleration and better breaking.
I plan on doing the same thing. I’m not a big fan of the piano, black trim. I’m looking for a vinyl wrap that looks like carbon, fiber trim. Let me know if you find one that looks good and matches well.
I installed the PPF on the front, bumper hood and mirrors as the Mazda pain is relatively chipped prone. Also, I ceramic coated my car.
I also installed the auto EXE front strap bar.
I installed the huskyfloor liners over the rubber Allweather mat. I find they offer better coverage less mud...
