Updated my navigation maps with the latest Aug release. This is my 3rd and last free update with my original card's subscription which expires in mid November.
Just to show how little interest there is, I have had my low mileage19" GT-R rims up in the classifieds here and on local Craig's List for 4-5 weeks and only asking $300 for the whole set. Crickets!
I'll give it thru the summer and then off to the local recycle center for $0.60/ lb.
Haven't checked that yet. I don't drive much with the steering wheel at full stop so I don't know. I'm not really worried about it. Maybe I can check it visually in the next few days.
Hi Catch,
I'm liking the new setup after a few weeks.
No spacers required and no rubbing. Plenty of room.
I am lighter in each corner by just under 2 lbs.
Handling feels the same after I reduced the installed pressure of 38 down to 36. Feels good here.
Haven't really paid attention to MPG...
OK, I'll try to get it done this morning. I appreciate your patience. I'm still amazed that I missed the whole big example photo. Embarrassing! Thanks!
Hi Antoine, sorry about that. I thought I had read all the rules, but missed that. I do see it now, though. I must have not had my coffee yet. You can delete this ad for me. I wrapped up each wheel put it away in the shed after taking these pics. Too much trouble to go thru that again. Apologies.
I have a set of 19" wheels from my 2019 GTR with 13,000 highway/city miles on them. All in excellent condition.
Asking only $200 for the set. These are in Flagstaff, AZ and as stated, are for PICK-UP ONLY. I will not ship.
PM me and we can arrange a meet to exchange wheels and cash.
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks, Ceric. I hadn't seen that method in my searches. As fairly uneducated in this topic, I was expecting psi to go up since I had a taller sidewall than the OEM, but it seems the load inflation tables seem to agree with you on the lower number, although I can't seem to find the correct table...
HighFlyer and Dunhillmc, Yeah, I knew not to use the max number.
I did read that one could use 10% less than the max number to start and if that's too harsh remove a little at a time until it's suitable, but never below the Mazda recommended number.
I also found this How to Figure Out Tire...
Hi all,
Just changed to 18" wheels from my OEM 19" and added the Wildpeak 235/60 R18. The Falken is smaller, has a taller sidewall and is wider than OEM.
Running right now at 37 psi which is where I ran the OEM Toyo A36 which is 1 psi over recommended.
Here's the questions.
1) Does changing...
