oh man that's nice. A double version would be even better, for our family road trips when my wife and I both want to have coffee and water in the morning when we set out. I have a plastic double cup holder in the same place in my Miata, held by the console and floor mat. Works great in that car.
huh? there's nothing on the car's roof. Maybe you're seeing my Miata hard top suspended above the foreground parking stall. :ROFLMAO:
Believe me, the garage is a clutter disaster area. I just so happen to keep the clutter pushed out enough to fit 2 (smaller) cars in there. CX5 and Miata.
yep that would have been nice, but I wanted to go ahead and get it done since I had been putting it off for a couple of months.
I found some clearcoat failure on a couple of these wheels in several places, so waxing at this point is probably a lost cause.
yep, got my INA tensioner and both Gates belts from RA. Got a camshaft sensor for my Miata under the Standard Motor Products label, but it's actually the same DSM-produced part as what Mazda sells. I did get a Miata coolant temp sensor from AC Delco recently, which turned out to be junk, but...
I don't for one second believe that the NGK ILKAR7L11 plugs are any different from the Mazda branded OEM plugs. Even the OEM box shows that exact NGK part number on them. If there was any difference they would have a different NGK part number. Yeah they're triple the price, but they don't...
I used to do 100 miles a day for 1.5 years in my Integra after college. That was 36K miles a year. Oil changes every month because I used to follow the 3K mile interval way back when.
My current commute is between 25-30 miles round trip depending on if I drive or cycle, and when I drive it's...
I changed fluid in our 2014 at 113K miles, doing 3 drain and fills with filter change on the 3rd drain.
132K miles on the car now. Transmission still seems to be working just fine.
yeah I've seen those and even posted about them a few months back, but didn't really get much response. I've considered doing a clear projector lens swap, which if I do then I would also consider getting those replacement lenses.
so you didn't have the apparent finishing issues that @Jmaz mentioned above?
Did you sand over the textured areas along the top edge of the lenses? Or did you just avoid those areas? I'm afraid if I avoid those areas, they'll have a noticeably different appearance than the rest of the lens.
yep, only time the fluid has been changed to my knowledge. We purchased the car with about 55k on it in 2016, so I wouldn't expect the fluid to have been touched before when I did it. What came out was pretty dark looking.
Did the 3x trans fluid drain and fill plus filter on ours at about 113K miles, which gets over 90% of the old fluid out. Mazda ATF FZ of course. That was nearly 2 years and 20K miles ago. Car still drives just fine.
Interesting. I watched several videos from this guy who SWEARS up and down and every way sideways by that Meguiar's product, and says 2K clearcoat is just horrible for headlight restoration. I've done some headlight resto's with 2K clear that came out amazing, but I don't have any long term...
problem is that it seems to be an intermittent issue. This is on the original fob that came with the car, not the newer one we got recently. Sometimes the key light on the dash will show up red when pressing the brake pedal, and the car will refuse to start, but other times it will light up...
