I’m interested as well. I’m done with exterior changes. Would like to get more out of my Cx5 turbo. I know how these car companies go conservative on their maps. My Speed6 felt so much stronger with a tune from Cobb
I drove 3 hours from Houston to Austin 2 days ago. Very comfortable on legs and back the whole way except the center console being too short to rest my elbow. I pull the steering wheel towards me to help with that. I’m 6ft 200lbs
Wife went to Mazda and bought me the OEM for my b-day coming up. So now I’m looking at nerf bars or getting my front and rear bumper guard powder coated in chrome to match the other chrome pieces since I didn’t have to spend my money on the roof rails anymore.
The springs I’ve replaced have always towered over the top of the strut where I needed to compress the spring to get the top hat and nut started. Are you sure the springs aren’t worn out?

The tool to rent is $55 at Autozone and...
Good tip, buy it preassembled like the Monroe Quick strut so you don’t have to worry about piecing it all together and the springs. That can be a b**** for some cars and you have to worry about renting a special tool to compress the springs
The top hat/suspension support looks to still be there where the 3 big bolts are and while rusted doesn't look to be shifting from the bottom pic. Have you tried tightening the top center nut? Looks like your top center nut is hitting against that bent metal, but you have to figure out what...
They're slip-on's with 4.5" outlet. Wasn't sure I would like the 4.5's so I didn't want to cut the originals off yet. It's just clamped on to the original tips. Now that I have seen it and like the look, I will have some welded on. They're diagonal, but would like the angle to be greater so...
Do you any pics from a front angle? Was there any gaps in the front? I thought I read some reviews that the rails didn’t come all the way to the front like the OEM ones.
