Should never have picked up a SUV with all-wheel-drive with three the same tires and one completely different. This will throw off the all-wheel-drive. Far you might want to talk to someone with a CX five swap, rooms and tires and see if the issue resolves itself.

Definitely get that to the dealer ASAP. Hopefully it’s something with the fuse that they could change and correct the issue. I’ve had had a 19 and a 23 and never experienced those particular symptoms.

As mentioned, these Mazda, CX fives are temperamental when it comes to batteries. I would definitely recommend having a tested at the very least buy a replacement one and see if the issue resolves. If it does not that it’s possible, the alternator not charging the battery when you’re driving.

I have two CX fives and ones of GTR. The other is a signature and haven’t experience anything that you’re mentioning. My recommendation is to hook up a GoPro drive it and see if you can replicate the issue.

If it was me, I would not trust the weld, considering you can get a remanufactured new/junkyard. It should cost a little mores then the weld job but piece of mind is worth a little extra $$$. At least you’ll have a peace of mind, knowing that the weld will not be the cause of failure in the future.
