I would call and question it or just wait. Dont spend the money because you know as soon as you do, youll get hit with the charge and have no monies to pay the bill!
how much room you have between rim and strut ?
Ive got BC Coilovers and I have more than half an inch still between the rim and strut
So there's no way to use 45 profile instead of 40 ?
I really wanted 45 to avoid any damage to rims due to bad roads around here.
235/45/17 is way too tall a tire...
also in the aggressive fitment thread
not too fond of the bright silver, so I will be having them powder coated as planned. The stance is beautiful though. They do rub as expected so gotta give my rear fenders some more attention to fully clear...or just raise it up a 1/4(**** that!)

keep em for a spare set/track setup for the year if I get any track time in
was also gonna throw them on my friends 2010 3 for the time being. Let her "store' them for me. My buddy joe has my stock wheels on his ms3 right now
I snapped two endlink tabs from my right front. Just contact BC with pics and they will send replacment sleeves
as far as welding on it, you wont be welding on the shock itself. unscrew that part and its a just a piece now
yea Ive got plenty of room in the front still, hence wanting to try a 245/40 to fill it out more. Id like a little more pushed out but I like fuction with wider tires too.
as time goes on Ill most likely buy a set or Work wheels in 8 inch with like a 38-40 offset and 215 tire for street use
oh I want SBC finish so bad but they dont make it my size, so Im gonna check out this powdercoat shop on my day off to check out their samples to see if they have something close. Either that or a nice light custom gunmetal. The silver finish is too plain for me
nah, no pics of the whole car. was just going for a quick fit to know what to fully commit with. big thanks to the customer that let me slow his rotation balance down because I wanted to play around with his wheels haha
im actually looking at rpf1s in the size I test fitted. pics will come when...
nah no side pics. they were an old school Volk wheel. 5 spokes and on the inside barrel behind the spokes it had a blue ring around the wheel that said volk racing
edit- found it

I still have room between the tire and coilover sleeve but I am gonna rub away the rest of the plastic liner(i saw rest of because 225/45/17 on stock wheels rubbed some away at the track last year )
