Thanks! I actually got the idea for the dash cleaner here on this forum.. the 303 Aerospace protectant. Lots of people were recommending it. I don't think it was it though, because I sprayed it ontto the microfibre cloth and NOT directly onto the dash.
I think someone else might be...
With thousands of vehicles made, and this not appearing to be a wide-spread issue, I completely agree with you.
It's likely just a defect in the glass OR.. a stone hit it at some point weakening it slightly.
Go to almost any other car enthusiast site and I'm sure you'll see "exploding sunroof"...
Recently, I noticed what appeared to be dried marks of something on the glass in front of the instrument cluster on my car.
Thinking it was just dust or something similar, I tried ti wipe it off with a dry cloth, only to find that it appears to be something caked on.
When I took my fingernail...
Find out from the dealer how much it would cost to repair that first. Call a random dealer, and see how much it'd cost to replace or unbrick a bricked Infotainment system.
It might be enough of a deterrent lol
My 2019 Signature was MSRP 41,370$ Canadian and I got it for 38,477$ before any feels/taxes, etc.
That's 2893$ off. I was thinking that was a pretty good deal for a Signature, but it's nowhere near 10% off.
My understanding is that the CX-5 is a very highly sought out vehicle and they do not...
I came from a 2009 Mazda 6 and the difference was night and day. When I took the CX5 out for a test drive, I couldn't believe how quiet it was.
I don't know how much is true or not, but I was told by representatives at the 2019 Toronto Car Show, AND by the dealer that Mazda employed some kind...
This is important - I know in the Mazda3 Forum where the original set of instructions came from, there was a checksum posted for each update, but this latest one did NOT have a checksum posted, so I wasn't able to crosscheck the checksum to ensure it was okay.
The purpose of having a checksum...
Definitely.
The other thing you need to be aware of, it is actually in the manual for the Signature model (I own one too), that if you are doing lots of short-stops and lots of highway driving, its recommended that after you put the car in park, you wait 30 seconds for the oil to cool the turbo...
My previous car was a 2009 Mazda 6 without a Skyactive transmission - The transmission made it all the way to 220,000+ KM without a flush until it started to indicate a transmission sensor issue.
There was nothing wrong with the driveability in it either. IT was just indicating a solenoid...
I've owned my CX-5 Signature for a little over a year now, and it wasn't until very recently that I figured out how to store the bloody gas cap.
I couldn't believe when I bought the car that my 2009 Mazda 6 had a holder but the newer CX-5 didn't. I was blown away.
Yeah, I can totally see the insurance companies using it against you at renewal time.. Your premiums go up, and when you call they say "well, you actually slammed on the brake 60% more than the rest of our customers, so... "
LOL. Working in IT gives me a better understanding of just what these companies are doing, and how much data I'm giving them. I do have a Facebook, but I'm pretty close to just shutting it down. Same with instagram.
I know they'll still get data from me navigating around the web, etc...
I agree with your sentiment, but if you have your Android phone or iPHone in the car with you, all your apps are doing that anyways unless you specifically tune your device properly.. and even then sometimes it's still doing it anyways surreptitiously through apps that have "bugs' conveniently...
Does this go for the Turbo model too?
I've always put Fuel Injector cleaner in my 2-3 times a year but I've never owned a turbo so I don't know if it will impact it in any negative way?
Thx.
