Took my car in today to get its 28,000km service done, and they reported the front pads were at 11mm and the rears at 7mm. that struck me as being odd, as I figured the front brakes would be utilized heavier than the rear brakes? Does this seem odd to anyone else at all? Thanks!

I have '19 Signature that's making that exact same noise. I believe when I've heard this in my Mazda 6, they ended up having to put shims in somewhere as the pads were wearing down I don't know if this is the same issue, but my '19 signature is doing the same thing.

I can answer only as a Signature owner in canada which in 2019 did NOT come with the 360 degree camera. The only camera that *I* can see on my car is the rear facing one. There are no side cameras. I'd suspect the trims that don't have the 360 degree camera are the same.
