^^I agree.
The entire instrument panel/interior in the RDX is way over cluttered/over complicated. Acura's approach seems to be to maximize gadgets/settings/modes/displays/options etc. Mazda's approach is more toward providing the important features yet make them as uncluttered/simple/intuitive...
I can't comment on the X3, but the RDX and CX-5 2.5T perform very differently:
- The RDX has a dead pedal affect (turbo lag). You press the gas and there's a very noticeable delay before it finally takes off. However once it does, it really moves.
- The CX-5 2.5T is like a V-8. Power...
You'll likely get a way better deal on an '18 since the dealerships and Mazda want them off the lots ASAP. Mazda appears to be throwing extra incentives at the dealerships to clear out '18's and you're goal is to a big chunk of those extra back end $'s.
Ignore TrueCar. I doubt it reflects the...
Thanks. It puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it. Yes, I hope these 2.5T trims are a resounding success for Mazda to signal that the performance oriented segment is alive and well and "keep them coming".
They just did!! It's called the GTR and Sig.
Gee, the cars haven't been on US soil for a month and guys are whining that they want more. (most of whom haven't even driven a 2.5T CX-5 yet.)
Yes, I'd love to see Mazda do something like what Audi did with the SQ5 but there's only so much a...
After driving my 2.5T Sig, I don't think they need to do anything with handling/suspension. I think it was over engineered in the regular 2.5 and there's nothing about it that's deficient in the 2.5T. It handles like a dream in any driving situation I've yet to encounter. (ex: GVC)...
As of 12/4, there are 4000 '19 CX-5's in US dealer inventory but only 200 Signatures. (ie 5%). Dealer's seem to average between 0-2 in stock. There have been no reports of clean cash transactions to suggest any meaningful discounts. (any transaction involving trades, financing will convolute...
My '19 CX-5 came with Toyo A36 225/55/R19.
Any feedback on these tires for 3 season driving? (I use Nokians in the winter).
Are they "keepers" or should I trade them in while they're still new?
There's minimal reviews at Tirerack. Any first hand experience here?
Picked up my Sig last night. Love it. It handles like it's on rails and the 2.5T has gobs of torque with no lag!!
Dealer did a swap 200 miles away to get me my first color choice. (Silver). I'm not a fan of roof rails but they didn't charge me and they don't look bad on a silver car.

When I test drove the Sig. I really didn't pay that much attention to the wood trim. It was subtle/classy and didn't stand out like fake wood. My focus was more directed to the wonderful performance.
Artemis Leader is within a few hours of mooring at the port of Tacoma with about 6000 new...
Problem with a tune is that you have to say "bye bye" to your factory powertrain warranty. If Mazda is like Ford/GM, any significant powertrain failure will get tech support involved and they have the ability to detect the past presence of a tune even after it's been removed. Even if a...
