With the clearance smaller than the specks you are about to worn the camshafts and the buckets/tappets. Grinding the back of the valve is way more easier than grinding the bucket. You can do it by your self with a water sandpaper. Anyway, the reason that your clearance is smaller than the specs...

Grind the back of the valve if you want a cheap solution.

Way too complicated. Better sell the 2 and buy a speed 3 :P I will make another custom gear in September. Now I bolted up a stock tranny that I had.

The problem is that 2 tooths broke from the 3rd gear(just under the fork) on the primary :( Because of the flash it isn't that clear what happened.

I really really really can't understand your problem about the valve clearance. The specifications of the valve clearance are 0.27mm to 0.33mm with the engine cold. How much is your valve clearance?

The 1st should be a 1.3 and the lower one a 1.5 liter. It seems that mazda changed the throttle body actuation through its time.

Its the throttle body cable. I thought all the DY demios with the ZJ and ZY engines(1.3 and 1.5) have cable driven throttle bodies.

What do you need to fit the nc throttle? Is an adapter between the mani and the throttle needed?

I don't know the brand and I dont see anything on it . A friend of mine had it from his previous setup and thats how I got it. The differences are visible at the photo.

What do you mean about the cooler? I bieleve that the motor with the stock sleeves(they are thick) can easily hold up to 350hp+ but the I believe tranny it won't. No I haven't notice any difference with the forged internals. I kept the same compression as the stock so it's as drivable as before...

yes and they are for heads that they need a longer neck in order to be in the "right" height inside the chamber. BK ZF

I believe that there is reason why the manufacturers want the plugs even(almost) with the chamber surface and only the tip inside the combustion chamber in the head. I am using Denso IK series with no problems at all.
