Yeah I know a few of the new guys on here have picked up MSP's for dirt cheap, between 2 and 3 grand, but then they promptly have to spend another two grand to make them roadworthy, and they still aren't in anywhere near this condition.
Car is sold!
So I am finally ready to list my car. I have been unsuccessful in finding an affordable house with more garage space, and I can't have my wife continue to park in the driveway when it starts to heat up again out here.
I am still very much in love with my MSP, so I am listing it...
Yeah, don't know why I didn't think that would look like California. Since I am in AZ, Cali is actually the cheapest state to ship to.
I've updated to say Canada.
SOLD!
This is the flywheel from the JDM Mazdaspeed Familia, purchased from Corksport.
The consensus is that Mazda shaved 2.5kg from the stock flywheel.
I weighed this at 16.4lbs, so if anyone has a stock one out of the car, they can confirm the difference.
Anyway, I bought this years ago...
I responded to your PM. Yes they are still available.
FYI, It is not a good idea to post your e-mail address on a publicly viewable forum. Bots scan forums for them and add them to spam lists.
SOLD!
These are Axxis ULT pads.
I've had Axxis ULT pads on my MSP since I bought it in 2006. They have incredible stopping power but don't need to warm up like a track pad so they are very popular for autocross. They also last forever. My first set lasted over 50k miles. However, when I...
The SMIC is sold to MyJayy. Thanks for the interest to all who PM'd me after the sale. I still have the radiator, the valve cover and catch cans, and the hard pipes with HKS Bov installed.
It was sold to me as a CR3 product from a licensed CR3 merchant. That was the relationship at the time of purchase, and CR3 has been providing the support, so I will keep it labeled as such.
SOLD!
After how much work I put into this, it is really hard to sell, but it makes no sense to keep it on a car that I am selling.
The valve cover was modified to improve airflow from the breather port to the crank case in order to reduce any positive pressure created by blow by under heavy...
Radiator is SOLD!
This is the radiator that Protege Garage sells for $525. It is sold as an AWR radiator but is actually manufactured by Ron Davis in Glendale, AZ. It is a stock replacement, but far superior cooling capacity than stock.
I purchased it in November of 2009, so it is almost...
SOLD!
This is the famous CustomMSP SMIC. It is famous because it is the only stock replacement intercooler for the MSP. Although it fits with no modifications, it is a massive performance improvement over stock. Protege Garage claims 20whp, which is overly generous. Perhaps on the hottest...
I've done a bit of research (google image search) and I am still not sure how the blow-by or fresh air for that matter gets from the crankcase to the valve cover.
There are some obvious differences between the SR20 and the FS. Our fresh air path is internal and has no catch can, just those 3...
Yeah $35 is a steal either way. Doesn't look like you are including couplers with it though. Couplers aren't cheap, good ones are about $10/each. Although I wonder how many extra couplers people in all car communities have just laying around, and yet they are not worth the shipping and hassle...
