I'm signing off from the Mazda 247 Forum today as I traded in my 2019 CX-9 GT today for a new 2025 Ford Explorer ST. I want to thank everyone on the forum for their advice and sharing their joy and sorrow with owning this vehicle. You helped me make this purchase in 2019 and stay on top of the...
Yes, I bought it brand new in Feb, 2019 from my local Mazda dealer. As I mentioned in my post the driver's mirror started shaking for more than the last year or so.
The mirror has also exhibited some strange behavior intermittently such as partially folding up when opening the door and then...
Interesting about your driver's side mirror. My 2019 CX-9 GT driver's side mirror also vibrates and has done so now for well over a year but the passenger side is solid as a rock. I'm getting rid of this SUV in February and don't drive very much so I have just lived with it but it can be...
Great advice, thank you. I'm trading this car in next February so am pretty sure it will make it 'til then. I wondered about the those pads and will pick some up after reading your suggestion.
Car batteries are a funny thing. I had my 2019 CX-9 GT battery replaced under warranty after 3 years and 15,512 miles. Now I'm seeing some corrosion around the negative terminal I'm going to clean off and I'm at 27,500 miles.
My previous vehicle was a 2013 Toyota Venza which I traded in for...
Impressive work; fortunately you have the skills and knowledge to DIY. What would the average owner do who was not mechanically inclined? Nine months to go before I trade my 2019 CX-9 GT in for something else other than another Mazda.
I was at my dealer this morning for the 25K service on my 2019 CX-9 GT FWD and while there took the opportunity to check out the CX-90 since I'll be in the market for a new car in 2025. Overall it's a lot like the CX-9 in my opinion, but a deal breaker for me is the even more miserly interior...
I think your hesitation makes sense and the strategy of waiting for new models to get tested in the wild first to see what problems arise is sound. But, it doesn't always work. Look at the current generation of CX-9 and the issues owners are having with the cracked cylinder head and...
I'm no expert by any means but given the odd assortment of electrical problems you're experiencing any sign of rodent damage under the hood such as chewed on wires, hoses, noise deadening insulation or rodent droppings? Just a thought and I hope I'm wrong.
I would suggest you read these two threads from the forum as they discuss issues that are of more concern than the audio USB ports.

I have a 2019 CX-9 GT with 25K miles on it and this is what my rear wiper looks like in the parked position. Sometimes it is level with the ground but other times it's up a bit as in the photo. I don't' find it to be any big deal. Good luck.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I also have a 2019 GT with almost identical mileage as yours and thus far haven't had any problem. From reading other posts here it appeared higher mileage vehicles were more prone to this problem but after seeing yours I'm wondering if that's a valid...
Thanks for posting your detailed impressions of the CX-90 and what dealers are doing here in the US. I plan to trade my 2019 CX-9 GT in 2025 and my short list of replacements are the CX-90, Honda Pilot, or Toyota Highlander.
I reside in a rural area where there are no high end dealerships...
I think it is worth it and appreciate having a stand alone nav system and not having to rely on my phone and Google Maps. I believe younger drivers prefer to do everything with their phone while older drivers aren't as reliant on their mobile device.
Having the directions on the HUD is handy...
I don't drive much since I'm retired and the mirror problem(s) are pretty intermittent so in the big scheme of things it's not worth getting worked up over for now. I buy a new car every 6 years in March so I'm on the downhill for this 2019 CX-9 which has otherwise performed well; I'm just...
I have had problems with both my folding side mirrors on my 2019 CX-9 GT. The driver's side will sometimes start to fold up slightly when I open the door and then reopen and the car is shut off. The dealer couldn't reproduce the problem and couldn't find anything wrong.
Then last year the...
