I don't know yet. I just found out they are looking at a Chicco Keyfit 35. I have yet to see one or read much about it except that it is different than the Keyfit 30.
So we are getting a grandbaby soon, and the Chicco Keyfit 30 or 35 has been selected by the kids. Do you need some sort of mat or towel under the base to keep the seat material from being permanently marred?
Thanks
There is a jam safe mode, when foreign matter, like a finger, is detected. There is also an initialization procedure which I had to use in older cars when I disconnected the battery. Looks like that battery disconnects can still cause a re-initialization to be performed.
OTOH I have read somewhere that “modern” car designs have the fuel pump in the fuel tank purposefully submerged because the fuel pump is cooled by the gas and running the tank empty can cause scoring in the pump which can eventually lead to early fuel pump failure
I don’t have a sense if legit...
My wife's car was in a sideswipe with less than 100 miles on the odo. Many pieces were removed which disabled many of the safety systems. The car was recalibrated by the dealer after being put back together. It came back with the TSR reading in kph even though the settings were mph.
I had to...
I did not try to mount it because I could see that would potentially interfere with sonar. I will try to look this weekend at the tow hook thread sizes.
That is a good question! I did not pick up on the real ask. Let us know when you find out.
As far as I can tell there are two systems,
1. the engine immobilizer, which always works in concert with the electronic key and
2. the theft deterrent system, which is the horn, headlight and flashers...
There is an alarm according to the US manual...a theft deterrent system...typical engine immobilizer...flashing headlights...horn sounding...which can be turned off by the remote.

If the theft-deterrent system detects an inappropriate entry into the vehicle, which could result...
I have used these for several years...too many bug that stick to the license plate and pit the paint. Also helps with rock chips and salt. Comes with screws and are thin framed. Dealer frames typically cover too much of the plate for my liking, often cutting off the state motto or whatever...
I think you have to do the research to understand the resolution of the new 2021 camera and and the older camera and what limitations there may be on the older generation infotainment system we experineced in the 2014 CX5 GT and the 2016 Mazda6 Touring. My impression is that the 2021...
I personally like the Protectant for interiors. Gives a nice matte finish to plastics...even used it on my coffee maker EXTERIOR to clean it up.
I do like the look of the Graphene, did not know it existed.
EDIT: The Graphene looks like a great once and done sealant and gloss enhancer, not to...
You are correct and I mis-spoke. The radar only detects moving objects and detects people in our underground garage or the grocery store parking lot, but it detects movng cars a lot better, almost before they are visible in the camera.
What I have been told and read about the rear cross traffic alert in my now departed 2016 Mazda6, and most other vehicles with similar capabilities: The rear cross traffic function uses a very different sensor than the forward sensing camera. @HardRightEdg is correct that the rear camera is...
I was reading this thread and it seems to be the ticking is attributed to the cylinder deactivation. In another forum, there was a thread on ticking that was high pressure fuel line bracket. Just a shot in the dark....
High Pressure Fuel Line Bracket
Been mentioned before by others, but I just picked these up at home depot and with some veclro tape, it sticks to the inside of the trunk to help with the awful lighting in the trunk lid. Between my standing in front of the trunk lid light, the black cargo mat, it can be had to see with old...
