there usually is a pressure sensor on the system, it can be fan related etc. I haven't studied the electrical diagram but there usually is a lot of condition needed for the AC to come on. If all the conditions are met and the AC still doesn't come on but the compressor does when you bypass it...
cause from the wiring diagram there is a relay that is triggered from the AC unit and that relay is powered by the fuse 22 on the power side so the light will come on and it will trigger the relay but you won't have any power to the seat heater itself
didn't even know that was a feature and never even used the parking brake... Does the light comes on in the dash when you apply the parking brake? If not than it might be switch related, otherwise, no clue
when that hapenned to me it was because the pressure in the AC system was too low (very slow leak) No clue how that relates but once they filled the system if started working again
you had the wheels balanced at first or recently while trying to fix the problem? If you haven't done it recently you might have lost a weight or something. If all 4 wheels came back correct, you can try to check the main drive shaft
The antenna might be in the rear window, check to see if there isn't anything broken in the rear window, all the little lines in there. Otherwise you might have a bad connection or badly insulated wire on the antenna. First time i hear of this though
if the transfer case fail you can always drive it in 2wd. Seems like they don't really know what they are searching for though, they want to slap parts on it until the missfire stops. What is the price for the job they mentionned?
