5dII is more expensive than the 1dIII... I think the AF is worth getting the 1d... only downside for me is 10.1MP and no video mode... I've blown 10MP shots up to 2'x3' and hung them on my wall though, so I think that's enough resolution.
would you guys buy a 5dII or a 1dIII? I'm thinking I will buy one or the other pretty soon. Right now I'm on the 1d train, but I keep going back and forth.
also, here is a photo I took with my iPhone since we're on the topic:
camera+ is $$$$
also, PS Express is good too.
yep, and make sure you hit 'double quotes' first to display the grid. I don't know what menu function that is.
Love that photo of the frosty leaves on the tree stump! Nice!

at f/22 I can see the difference even in a web sized image... it starts getting this "dreamy" weird look to it... it works with some subjects, but very much not with others. In fact, I have a 30 second beach sunrise exposure shot at f/22 hanging in my dining room... I would never shoot...
f/11 starts to generate refraction. Try f/8 for sharper images. Also, it will let you speed up your shutter just a little, which will help your keeper rate... as long as you're still getting enough background blur.
