Drove my 2021 over 1400 miles up and down the east coast. Mostly highway but about 200 of city. I decided to drive max of 5 miles over speed limit. I averaged 29 MPG over those miles. My best MPG 30.3 over the first 501 miles, My CX-9 currently has over 141,000 miles.

The CX-70 PHEV is only available in low priced versions. All less than $50K.

It is safe to assume that the yr 2 CX-90 has many of these some refinements. This car should be close to perfect in yr3.

On fb and CX90 forums, the negative posts have taken a sharp decline. The early models had issues and I think the PHEV has more issues than the inline 6 but overall, I think they have improved things. The CX-70 looks to have addressed lots of the bugs. Me, I would still wait till the 2025 model...

The issue with that is that out the door, it is close to 75K, when you get the features the CX-70/90 has. If 15K is not an issue, I would skip that and get a BMW PHEV or the Mercedes.

They have addressed many of the QC issues that plagued the early versions of the CX90.

Meh. Not only is that just one random guy on YouTube but that video is a year old and most of the issues with the CX90 have been addressed and the CX70 is much improved. If you have a CX-5, like I do, enjoy it. If you have a CX70/CX90, enjoy it as well as it looks like a great car.
