Vibrant doesn't make the 4-2-1 for the Protege anymore. AWR stopped as well. Genie makes one, but it's mild steel and you have to find a way to convince them to ship to you from Australia.
Otherwise, you're stuck with a 4-1 or a shorty, or getting a custom built 4-2-1 unfortunately.
I know this is a late reply...but those are NOT JDM Tails. They are cheap altezza tail-lights, and you shouldn't pay any more than $100 for them. Anyone that's paying $400 for those is crazy. You could get JDM tails for less than that.
my mistake. I misunderstood your post. I thought you were puting him down, and I think his car is pretty damn sweet. I think we're both on the same page here though. As mentioned....to each his own. I just hate when people bash others cars just because of their own personal preference, rather...
^^ (in reference to mazda_pro5_2nr's post) how about points for originality? Not everyone wants to go fast. Respect people's rides for different reasons. Sevsev's car is Extremely unique. He is doing things with his Protege that others have not done before. So to me, he gets my vote for pushing...
good stuff man. We have mini-meets at least once or twice a week in various ends of the City. Plus, larger Official club events once a month. In the summer time there will be a lot of big things happening, so check our board every now and then and come out to a meet whenever you can. :)
Thanks dude. Those are the rims I currently have on the car (well...I'm on winter steelies right now, but once the warmer weather comes, I'm going back to the ones in that pic).
I just get bored of stuff quickly and have tried to change things up each year. But I'm hoping to keep those rims for...
I've had pretty much any size you could think about putting on my P5, so here are a few of the highlites from Newest (top) to Oldest (bottom) :p. I've changed my rims every year since I bought the P5. LOL.
Motegi RT-5 / 18 x 7.5 / +45 Offset / Matte Black
Rev Model II / 18 x 7.5 / +45 Offset...
you'll be fine. Just turn the fogs off if you see a cop and are super paranoid. I've had yellow fogs in Toronto for close to 3 years now as well as smoked tails....never had one issue. I suppose it's really a crap-shoot, because you could get lucky that one day and be pulled over. But chances...
sorry...not interested in doing a swap since that would mean I would be giving up:
JSP CF Hood with sides painted to match my car
DGM CF Grill
Headlight housing with Eyelids permanently afixed to them
I think if I do go through with this, I'll just get an extra MSP, MP3, or P5 bumper, cut it...
Just to clarify...
I would assume the easiest way would be to cut a P5 bumper and a 99-00 bumper horizontally in half, and then mold the bottom half of the Walker bumper to the top half of the P5 bumper.
But I'm posting this incase anyone else has any other ideas (other than swapping headlight...
Just looking for some advice here from anyone that has attempted (succesfully or unsuccessfully) to fit a 99 - 00 Front Bumper on an Hatch (02 or 03 since they're the same).
I'm not a fan of any of the front bumpers available for the P5, with the exception of BC2, but their fitment is horrible...
LOL....nah, I got a scratch on one of my mirrors at work. Some dumbass opened his door and slammed it into my mirror. So I figured I might as well cover it with these :p
