I've got a Samsung Galaxy S7 as my personal phone and an iPhone 7 as a company phone and both consistently get disconnected. Does the warranty still apply at the mileage I've got? I purchased the car used which may also affect the warranty I would think.
I never checked the electrolyte levels. I have also never checked the electrolyte levels in any vehicle I've ever owned. Their batteries still lasted much longer. My own conclusion is that the OEM battery in my Mazda sucked. It's been replaced now and although I am disappointed in Mazda for...
I was just surprised that it didn't last longer than it did. I've driven other cars similar amounts of miles over similar time frames and the batteries have lasted 2 to 4 years more than they did on the Mazda. They were all non OEM batteries, however. This is the first car I've owned that I've...
It was mostly commuting 30 miles each way to work each day with some 50 mile trips to our place in PA once or twice a week. I just feel like I've put more miles on other cars over roughly the same time and never had issues with the batteries.
Okay so here's my story. I have a 2015 Mazda CX-5. I have 81,000 miles on it currently and my battery is surprisingly dead. Most Vehicles I've ever had have had a battery life of 5 to 7 years on average. Did my Mazda battery died prematurely? Or is this just typical for Mazda's factory battery?
I managed to get 52k miles out of the stock tires. I currently have Bridgestone T/A Advantage with 20k and they are performing and wearing really well.
I like the feature because I live in a rural area and do not have any dusk to dawn lights around my house because I hate them so I use the headlights on the car to see to get into the house. It is one of only 3 complaints that I have about the CX-5 thus far.
I'll have to check my settings when I get my car back and see if the welcome lights are on or not. Someone backed into me and it's currently getting repaired.
No I mean the welcome lights or whatever they're called. Like when your car is parked and locked outside and you approach it and press the unlock button on the key fob, most cars low beam lights kick on as a "welcome light". I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to enable the welcome light...
Okay so my question is this: Why do the headlights not turn on when you unlock the vehicle? Literally every vehicle I've driven that was a 2009 model or newer had this feature. Why does the CX-5 not have this being a 2015 model? Am I just missing a setting option perhaps?
It's really not that difficult to do. I did it in my 2011 Honda Accord and my 2013 Mustang. Literally all you have to do is change out the headlight stalk to one that has the "auto" feature. My 2015 CX-5 already has the sensor that is needed. It's in the middle of the dash nearest the window. I...
I use a DDM Ultra HID kit for my low beams and couldn't be happier. I made the mistake of going with HID for my high beams. They have a delay until full brightness which makes them impractical for high beams. Eventually I will have to switch them to LED. I can post a pic of my lights if you'd like.
