CX-5 Jack points, Pinchweld Heights, Bottlejacks and Pucks

I'd love to have a lift, but there’s really no place at my current home where I could put one. I’ve thought about picking up a QuickJack, but it seems like the setup could be a little time-consuming. One of my nephews has one that he uses with his Porsche, so I should probably ask him about...

Need help, metal flakes in oil and oil burning

@Dotiri This was already posted in this thread but do you still have the latest oil filter you swapped out? If so, you really should open it up https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0F379FSQG

Need help, metal flakes in oil and oil burning

I'd probably drop the oil pan to see if oil pump pickup screen is starting to be blocked by this metal debris.

    Thoughts on Mazda VSA Warranty?

I've come across a few posts elsewhere saying Platinum did cover it. I'd see if you could get something in writing that it would. They do say this for exclusion but a lot more going on inside than just the bulb. "Light Assemblies/Housingsand Light Bulbs including LEDs"

    Thoughts on Mazda VSA Warranty?

In all honesty I would probably purchase a genuine extended warranty on anything new today. If you can get it for a cheap enough price 1 or 2 repairs will probably pay for it with current shop rates. Looks like a Powertrain only VSA...

    Thoughts on Mazda VSA Warranty?

Timing cover weep/seep/leak isn't uncommon either. I just live with my minor seep/weep even though it was repaired once under basic powertrain warranty. That is probably the only thing I would have made them fix under an extended warranty. Nothing else required any post warranty dealer work...

    2017~2025 CX-5 Rear Differential Failure

I see the AT vent on my '15 2.5L. I think it is clamped to a heater line. Look just to the left of the battery.

    2017~2025 CX-5 Rear Differential Failure

The one in the trunk area is the intake. The exhaust vent for the diff is on the top of diff . I ordered one of these back in 2016 to confirm it was an exhaust only diff valve using some vacuum tests. On the top of rear diff somewhere.. think I located it in the day but can't remember now...
