Welcome to the forum & Mazda.
This forum is both a wealth of shared user information as well as a "dangerous" source of things you didn't know your CX-5 couldn't live without . I mean that in a good way!
My son traded his bullet proof 2016 Mazda3 on a 2025 CX-70 (same color as bigsho) end of last summer due to recently arrived baby & needing more room. 2 weeks ago at about 10k miles he got an engine malfunction warning which required the fuel pump to be replaced (under warranty of course). The...
I sarcastically tell them I charge a $500 advertising fee & to deduct it on my paperwork. Even when I make them write NO DEALER ADVERTISING on the invoice they still do it. On my current CX-5 I refused to do the paperwork until they removed the vinyl logo to my satisfaction despite it being...
I agree, the ventilated seats in my son's new CX-70 are MUCH better than my 2019 CX-5 GTR.
Although my CX-5 ventilated seats are better than my wife's new Honda Odyssey or my DIL's new Honda Pilot.
Welcome @Blackout70. What did you use to blackout your rear emblems? My son recently traded his Mazda3 on a CX-70 Premium Plus in Zircon Sand which has the blacked out wheels, mirrors, & door handles. He mentioned he would like to black out the rear emblems like you have done. I'll point him to...
Just a heads up for anyone else experiencing a similar issue with the OEM Bose speakers. Do a search & you will see that this is a recurring issue/design flaw caused by water getting into the doors & causing corrosion where the speaker cone attaches to the metal support ring resulting in...
I agree about making the 3rd row an option which is what VW with the Tiguan. My DIL replaced her Jeep Wrangler with a Honda Pilot which has the 3rd row. My son actually really likes & bought the CX-70 in Zircon Sand which is not available on the CX-90. He was also able to get a better discount...
Good to hear about the SD card.
My son just traded his 2016 Mazda 3 for a 2025 CX-70 Premium Plus. He had shopped a few months ago & with the current deals (& the CX-70 he liked still on the lot) he found it hard to pass up.
He drove my CX-5 numerous times and liked it but wanted the extra...
I replaced my rear headrests with JDM OEM ones. Still there but much lower. Also allows rear seats to be flip down without headrests hitting front seats.
I have them on my 2019 GTR. They (fronts only) stay on for about 30 seconds when the front doors are opened. Five years & I haven't had to replace the batteries yet.
