Looking for some assistance with install of a sub and amp while keeping the stock head. I have an 09 Speed3.
What is the best way to do this? Do I need to wire the sub into the rear speakers, or is there a way to tie into the head unit. I will be running a single sub with a mono amp.
Thanks
They have been putting V8's in Miatas for a while now. Typically they use the 289 or 302, and with a supercharger, they are hitting the 500hp mark. I wonder if one would fit in an MS3???? Of course we would need to beef the suspension, rear axle and trany. Probably would be over that 15k mark Im...
Thanks for that info....I was not aware of this. Last time I changes plugs was in a 68 Chevy truck lol. Well the good thing I guess is that I made sure not to over torque them, and applied the anti seize to about 3 of the threads. But for the future, Im sure I will follow the manufactures...
Denso ITV22 plugs are installed! Got them in yesterday and installed last night. Took about 1 hr of easy work, taking my time not to drop the new plugs during install. Dont forget to buy dielectric grease and copper anti seize like i did and had to go back to the auto store. Also, fyi...the...
I have not heard of any issues. I'm running the PG TIP with AP and have zero issues. I wouldn't see why there would be any big difference between the two.
I had the same exact thing happen when my air intake temp sensor went out. Not saying that this is your issue, but all of your symptoms are sounding very familiar.
There is a possibility that if you used carb cleaner on the MAF, it may have damaged the filament. I have no experience with this but I have heard to use rubbing alcohol to clean the MAF to prevent any damage.
What is the code that you are throwing? The other thing that I thought it may be is your air temp sens, which could make it run poor and lean. Had that happen to me on another vehicle before.
I should have my one steps installed in a couple days and will report any apparent differences running the COBB tune in comparison with the stock plugs
