Yeah, vital things like that you can go wrong with Original parts or the og manufacturer. Electronic stuff on the cheap sometimes stuff like this happens
I see Coil on Plugs , How does the car feel with them... also.... how the hell are you holding them in place with no bracing. Some vids on the new sound would be killer
Cool update. Keep us posted on that Coil on Plug coversion. Im hoping to do one as well but with 4g69 or 4b11 Mitsubishi coils, it's simple enough to get working, but I'm waiting on overhauling the engine and mating the ZE pistons to the block while I'm at it. Hopefully I finally get it done...
My bad, the header in ebay does not appear as 626 when u search. It appears as 93-97 Ford Probe, but also lists 626 in the name

Remember to invert the hangers, as well as turning...
I have been running an Injen CAI for over 10 years, still feels great. I even bought it used in great condition. Save for cleaning the filter every year, it is fire and forget for me. For exhaust, instead of going for the ebay lone 4-1 header( did have it before), went for the 90's 626's 4-2-1...
I'm just telling you this because I just solved oil burning in my car with this stupid little thing. My car burned oil cold too, also whenever I accelerated hard I made a cloud that would made nimbuses proud.
I replaced my damn PCV... yup, just that. Car never smoked again. The damn thing just...

I'll leave this here, it'll maybe help u some. I did this on my FS, no problem whatsoever. Just have a muffler shop with a good welder to turn the hangers around and move...
No, but in a certain degree it can. I understand not all of us are bushwhack mechanics, but sometimes we have to make due with what we have
I jacked up the engine with jack and wood to install new engine mounts and inserts, worked lke a dream, no damage to the pan. You just gotta know how to do...
Should be that the jdm engine is OBD-1 and the computer you are using is OBD-2, it would never start like that... I also think the japanese engine damper is different, the timing teeth are differently placed.
Mine does the same. Always when cold, I've read from here somewhere that our FS engines have a little problem...
When they are cold they kinda dont seal well until the car has warmed up, hence the smoke. And this happens when the engine gets some high mileage. Mine started near 100k. The car...
That headers design isnt that great, I had it and switched it up to this

I used the map line for the safc as well, that way both ECU and Stand Alone get the same reading. Dont know about the 1.6 mani, but the 2.0's has a vaccum pick up in the side, next to the VICS that goes to the MAP sensor. I " teed "that with a hard line thru the grommet and into the safc. Leave...
Berto I just installed that Wideband myself. Im trying my way to tuning with an SAFC for the time being.... pa chillar goma el 29 jajaja
Looking good, that's some great stuff you picked up
