No, this just disables the light on the mirror. The black sticker on the cluster is the only easy way to disable that light.

The plug is on the back of the mirror glass.

I've used tupperware and cut up plastic butter lids to protect and/or re-direct water. Plastic bag, electronics project box could also be used.

And? All parts can have issues. I've been in the parts biz for over 35 years. The return/warranty ratio on good quality jobber parts is very low when you look at total sales. Dealer parts still have their fair share of issues.

Most likely the master. A good aftermarket one is fine.

You need the PAC harness or Maestro RR.

Faulty trailer converter. Remove it and see if everything works properly.

Remove kick panel, remove door panel, fish wire thru access hole & rubber sleeve that the other door wires go thru.

I suggest you read post #30. You could be waiting for a few years on them instructions if at all.

Did this yesterday..... 300,000km, 2009, all original w/p, trans, wheel bearings etc.

Get one from a junkyard or eBay and swap it out.
