On the first lid design, couldn't you weld a pipe at an angle on the inside of the box and have the filter go in the same direction as the opening? Idk how you have the filter mounted but I'd imagine it's just a pipe welded in there. Just trying to throw out options, liking the design of the box...
Picked up a fully forged block and new turbo in the past couple of weeks. Block has 40k miles on it, pauter rods, weisco pistons 8.5.1 compression, and Arp main studs. The turbo I picked up is a garret T3/T4E and a steedspeed manifold. Have a few more things to buy before I drop it all in the...
I'll add to the list. Hopefully we can get enough people to get in on this to make it happen.
1: i12drivemyMP5 - P5 w/ P5 headlights - N/A - with AC cutout - bare piping with breather port - black anodized box - no filter - black couplings
2: RyanJayG - Sedan - Boosted - 4" inlet - Black...
I'll have to test it after work today.. advance auto can't get the fpr sensor so where else could I get the sensor from? I haven't checked O'Reillys yet but maybe they'll be able to get it
Finally had the check engine come on again so hopfully chasing down this problem. Had a p0421 (warm up catalyst efficiency bank 1) and a p0090 (fuel pressure regulator 1 control circuit). Could the fpr cause rough idle, hessitation in acceleration, and a vac leak? And this would be the actual...
Yeah I had a maf sensor pop up and a fuel regulator sensor. But I've had these two codes pop up multiple times before I've had this issue. Think they pop up because of maxing out the 5v range on the maf. I got a ssafc just haven't installed it yet cause I want to fix this issue first.
So I've been dealing with some issues with the car here lately.. can't seem to figure out what's causing it either. On a cold start-up I have to tap the gas in order for it to crank, it shows a vacuum of -15ish at idle, after it warms up and I come to a stop somewhere rpm's drop to nearly...
I've been dealing with an exhaust leak for about 6 months now and can't fix it. Some of the holes for the exhaust manifold stripped out and I used helli coils to fix it but it never fixed the leak. So I took my other head to the machine shop and got it cleaned up and going to put it in the car...
ahh yeah I've heard of some hesitation but not fuel cut from this. But glad to know nothings wrong with the car, probably going to try and pick up a split second sometime this spring
Havn't been on here in a while, actually I haven't done much to the msp in a while either... But ive had an issue come up and I cant figure out what it is. When I get on it and the rpm's get to about 4 or 5k it feels like the car hits fuel cut. It feels violent, but it dont happen all the time...
Im probably going to take these and clean them up for the time being. The seal is breaking on them so im going to take them apart and clean them real good and look into getting a clear coat over them.
yes! These are exactly what im wanting
I've restored them not to long ago and they went right back to being foggy... I'm actually thinking about selling these and making my own retro fit headlights, I want halo's
Yea I think street unit has them for like 250$ im not in a hurry though and I could buy one off someone for a way better deal so I figured I'd just wait
Yeah I might have to start keeping spares to, this is the second one I've had to replace
My issue turned out to be a bad wastegate, it only did it when the car warmed up though. But yeah I agree with JDM_Pro5 id check your vac lines and then go from there
