I ordered them from motor heads japan https://www.parts-sale.jp They both set me back arround 155 usd plus 30 usd of shipping to usa. The pigtails and the second socket i was able to order it to balise mazda online and they cost me arround 52 usd.
Meguiars ultimate black. Does not disappoint. Be careful when applying, it tends to stain the paint a bit if left on it. (I think all those type of products do).
As promised, quick install, just tapped into the running lights and done... it gives the rear more character in my opinion. I ordered the oem cords as suggested and another socket for the fog that did not have it from factory.
I was able to order both fogs to motor head japan and here's what i got. In this case the left fog did not had the bulb hole from factory, but it did came with the internal reflector, so i made my own hole to it and ordered the appropriate mazda socket and pigtails to connect it to the main...
Depending on the region, each car would have different wiring colors. In my case i dont own a gen1 any more and the instructions were delivered to the new owner. But as far as i can remember, if you install the new harness as per the instructions the mirrors will work inverted.
If you can...
i'm still unable to find this parts to buy them. Anyway i can find these in any dealer in the EU?? Google only shows this parts on Russian sites for sale as used spares, no other info is shown. I contacted japanparts.com and even they aren't able to source them.
Also the KB9G-51-650C is also...
Last one should be unlock wire. In my case the mirros closed when the lock was triggered but they will open when the car was on acc. I did test them to open on unlock but never made the change.
If you bought the kit, it comes with all the wiring instructions you're going to need. As i said before in my case my car was shipped to latin america and this kit is for euro cx5's so i had to make a few ajustments.
I dont own the car anymore hence i dont have the instructions with the...
A quick search on google wont turn up much results on this pieces to order them. But thanks anyways for coming up the parts numbers so quick!
I'll keep an eye out to see when they pop up online.
That would be nice if you do! I assume even if its only one fog on the offside, the opposite site would have a different part number as the current dummy on the car.
In my previous 16 cx5 i got them both working as running lights and they looked beautiful (i know, my country does not have...
I think it will. But to make sure they do before buying the kit, check the connector that goes into the clock spring from the steering column side and make sure that its only missing 1 cable. (You can see this procedure on the how to's, the wire locations are the same as on the previous gen).
I was able to install them without any issues using the following kit from japan found on ebay:
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253439554540 (this kit comes with everything needed for a non heated steering wheel)
The parts are:
- BHT1 66 3P0...
The difference between logos y beacuse the highest trim has a sensor behind it and the lowest trim does not. In this case the cheapest looking logo ( in my opinion) has the more advanced features.

I have it installed as well. I really like how it looks. I hidrodipped mine in carbon fiber to match my side view mirrors.

As for the mods, in my country there's only 1 mazda authorized dealer and they dont even know ( or they're not interested) on how to update the infotaiment system. So i think im covered there. As for the mods themselves there are a few very lengthy threads on mazda3revolution forums regarding...
In my particular case, i live in a country where we have poorly paved roads and very little lighting on the street. So in my case they are a must if i dont want to eat a pothole that just showed up out of nowhere. Also since our traffic laws are poorly enforced a motorcyclist can cross a street...
