Just did the fix today. I went to Home Depot to buy some mesh to put over the opening and when I took out the seat and subwoofer, a nice little 12 cents fell out of there. I put the mesh on and put it all back together and no more rattle. Everything sounds great!
Haha so you guys are right, I had this sound come on that was perfect for the rattle and I finally found that it was coming from the one and only..... sub under the passenger seat! Go figure, now I just have to take it out and go get a piece to put over the opening like you said. Who knows how...
Yea mine is a GT with the Bose Stereo system. That has to be it, because I feel like I have tried every other possible solution to pinpoint the rattle. Is it difficult to get down there by taking off the seat?
I have tried to pinpoint this rattle that has been driving me nuts the past couple of weeks. I thought it was coming from the front right passenger side, but after taking off the entire panel to try and fix it, still no solution. When I play my tunes up from my Ipod past like volume 22 there is...
Oh ok, for some reason I thought you had both. The RX-8 is looking great though. The black wheels on it look amazing.
You got that right about Tiesto, I'll be seeing him live here in Atlanta on the 23rd, going to be a blast. His new In Search of Sunrise 7 he just put out is crazy good too :D
That LOMO effect is sweet. Makes it all looked so detailed and better looking with the deep shadowing and stuff. I haven't touched photoshop in ages, I need to get ahold of some of these techniques. Those are great pictures (thumb)
Edit: Don't you have a P5 altspace? Maybe get some LOMO effect...
Leave me a Mazda hat near my front wheels at LA Fitness at the Mall of Georgia when I came out today. I usually park on the side of the building with no other cars, but some days I have seen and parked by a black MS3 that looks sexy (might be him, but I didn't see him today, so I'm not sure who...
Those pictures by Kosh are absolutely classic, haha. Anyways, good to hear the MP3 is getting the work done to it and that the other guy's insurance is paying for it all. Win win :)
Man sorry for your loss there, that's has to be the most annoying way of getting damage done to the car, especially underneath :(. Best of luck to you in getting things fixed and done, as I would do everything possible as well to get something worked out for there not being any temporary plates...
I'm still awaiting the crank pulley, I was in the first 20 to pay for one :(. I know you've been busy brach, but I paid for that crank pulley over 4 months ago :\
Yeah I understand not wanting to deal with anymore stubborn endlinks haha, but that's good you didn't have stubborn ones :). I don't know how the northerners do it with those winters (uhm)
