7k intervals aren't "hard" on the engine. The normal interval per the manual is 7500 mi or 5k for the the severe driving schedule. For the 2026 CX5, normal is 10k mi now. In Europe the interval is 12,400 mi (20k km)

Are these down for good? Specifically looking for the Mazda6 (GJ/GL)

iirc, the oil change interval is 20k km (12k mi) in europe and their gas is pretty much the equivalent of premium here

Isn't this just a Chinese made car rebranded as a Mazda? The same way that the Toyota Yaris is a rebranded Mazda2 in the US?

What are the load and performance ratings of the new tires. How do those compare to the ones you replaced?

Not uncommon. hold it at 1500-2000 RPM for 5 min and that should fix it.

The currently available Idemitsu oil is not the high moly oil that was available a few years ago. They stopped making that one for commercial sale for some reason. The factory fill on 2.5 NA engines is still Idemitsu high moly. Mazda dealers do have a new Idemitsu high moly GF6a oil by the quart...

Somewhere in the workshop manual it says that any suspension part with a rubber bushing needs to be torqued with the full weight on the suspension
