Not trying to argue, it just doesn't make sense. The rear seat, I get. They added 2.5" to the rear area, which is a lot (the specs below seem off in that regard as they only show 0.3" added legroom for the 26 while shoulder room is up 0.8"). The headroom is where I question you as the specs...
I am just quoting the specs of each car. There can't be that much difference. It's the same body as before, just stretched. You have a 24 Cx-5 correct? How about you measure from the top of your head to the roof in both cars. And from your hip to the door? According to everything I have...
I recommend the sound dampening be done to your Bose sub before you buy a replacement. I thought it made the sound much tighter.

Well, adding 200lbs to the car without increasing the power is a good way to slow it down....
Have any of the usual testers done a real 0-60 time? I don't see an official test result from C&D, MT, or R&T. I am expecting it to be mid to high 8's with the extra weight. The video above said the...
Exactly. Everything I have seen talks about less soft touch materials which is a step down. The steering wheel also looks "cheap" to me. Not as upmarket as the last one.
Just did a quick Google and this was the answer:
"The 2.5L engine in the Mazda CX-90 PHEV is not an "all-new" engine design, but rather an updated version of Mazda's existing naturally aspirated 2.5L 4-cylinder Skyactiv-G engine. It is heavily modified for plug-in hybrid duty, paired with a 68...
I was thinking it made no sense the hybrid CX5 wasn't ready at launch as they already have a 2.5L hybrid for the CX60/70/90 with 323hp and 369 ft/lbs and an 8sp automatic. Of course, this is a RWD platform, but surely Mazda can adapt it to work with FWD.
I guess time will tell. I read good and bad experiences with Kia and Mazda all the time so it isn't isolated to Kia. I am at 3500 miles and going in for my first oil change today (along with a software recall update for the emission system). I don't plan on adding any aftermarket stuff...
The CX-9 isn't in production anymore, is it? They have three different engines in the CX-50 so it isn't unusual. I personally think they should have either waited to release the new CX-5 until the hybrid was ready or continue the turbo until the hybrid was released.
Toyota was involved in the 1st gen CX-9? I thought it was a Ford/Mazda only. In a quick look online (wikipedia), I see nothing mentioning Toyota involvement.
