So far, I've added the OEM body kit rear spoiler and upgraded the tires to Michelin CrossClimate2's. Had to go to 225 wide tires since 215 aren't an option. The tires look so meaty!

I think you're slowly uncovering some clues but it might be the best to get the car to a professional to look at it. You don't want to do more damage here.
You could simply pay them to do a compression test. if that is indeed the culprit, that will identify it and give them what they need to open a case with Mazda.

I eventually started getting codes but it took several months. Codes usually happened in parking lots when I was backing in/out of a spot or other slow maneuvers.
Mazda and my dealer were helpful through the process.
I believe it was only a single cylinder misfiring. Not all of them...
I had these issues on my 2018 Mazda6 Signature. it was a dead cylinder and required an engine replacement.
Someone else on the site also had the same issue on their cx5 with the same engine.

Went to my local dealer and they had one in the show room. New is nice for sure. I certainly like the modern style of the interior but wish it had the same quality of materials the previous model years did.
I am excited to see what the top trim hybrid will be like next year!
With Canada's recent announcement of bringing some Chinese EVs over, I am wishing vehicles like this are in the batch...It's neat how modern they seem compared to what is typically sold here in Canada.

From what I’ve seen in other vehicles, my Ford included, those are two safety-linked items they want users to be able to turn on ASAP as it impacts seeing out of the vehicle.
Not saying I agree with the full screen approach but sharing that those two functions seem to get hard buttons in a lot...
