I'm embarrassed that I didn't catch that. The manual link was the one that the Mazda Customer Experience rep sent to me after our phone call via email. Thanks for the catch. I'll see if I can come up with a solution.
Not what you'd expect to hear, but my service manager said nearly the same to me when I was there to pick up my CX-5 from routine maintenance. We're considering a CX-90 to replace my wife's aging Honda Odyssey but the service manager said that he'd wait a couple of years on this one until all...
Searched the threads for a solution but couldn't find one and "Mazda Customer Experience" at 800-222-5500 was of little help. Many of my important contacts, (family and a few close friends), are not among the ones that the vehicle will now store. Link suggests that you can store 5,000 contacts...
Consider filing a diminished value claim. Your vehicle will show up as having been involved in an accident on CarFax, AutoCheck, etc. You're entitled to compensation from the responsible party. If a police report was written it would have read something like this: V1 rear-ended V2. Issued...
Yeah, but the 1 & 2 star reviews stated that it doesn't work. If you had a 16% of hitting the Lotto, how many tickets would you buy? I suppose I am somewhat concerned about the possibility of uploading some sort of virus from the Amazon/Ebay knock-offs too, (if that's even possible)...
Nope, just as persistent. Same issue on 3 different browsers w/AdBlock on Chrome turned off. Note, I've had that ad block for years and no issues w/it while using your site in the past. That app is not present on Explorer or FireFox. Sounds like a bug on your end.
Not a put down but it seems like all the manufacturers are trying to see how much plastic to put around the wheel wells in order to make them look more off-road capable? Anyway, what will you all be using to keep that black plastic looking black over the years? Is 303 the way to go?
I reported my failed LED daytime running light to NHTSA and encouraged others to do the same. Some made comments on the thread that we were petty for a bulb that cost <$20 when, in reality, the replacement was/is over $1,250 per light as it requires the replacement of the entire adaptive...
I had a nearly identical experience yesterday. Picked up my 2016 CX-5 AWD GT from an oil change at my local dealer and was handed a jar of Vaseline when they told me that I should replace my tensioner as well. 53k on the odometer. Estimate at just under $400. Reporting to NHTSA.
I just replaced my OEM Toyo's at a whopping 28,650 miles having maintained air pressure and rotations at 5k intervals. 3 tires were down to 2/32 whereas one was at 3/32. The Toyo rep told me that this is typical of OEM spec'd tires as auto manufacturers will request that the tires for a given...
A message from Captain Obvious-Looks like there are (2) threads covering the same issue with the LED DRLs failing. . . https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123857122-Daytime-running-lights-dim-flickering
Well Craig, as others have pointed out, the burnt headlight that you are suggesting to simply replace runs about $1,500+ to replace. This is due to the fact that when the LED DRL fails, you need to replace the entire headlight assembly which has the auto leveling and adaptive steering feature...
At just over 27k, my passenger side LED DRL failed on my '16 CX-5 GT. Just received a call that the headlight assembly has arrived at the dealership following a national back-order of over 2 weeks. Like others have commented, my concern is how will Mazda handle this when it fails again, (or...
We just purchased my son a 2012 Mazda 3 and have the same rattling sound that everyone is describing. 3 mechanics haven't been able to figure it out. I found this on the Internet and will check and advise. . . I had rattling noise coming from the rear of my Mazda3 on road bumps and rough road...
