Try removing the battery and clean all contact points with alcohol. Wipe the battery too.

I'd be amazed if it didn't have wireless connection. Did you read the manual for help? Could be a failure of some kind. Bluetooth on in phone? Etc..

Something to try. Toothpaste first then maybe Soft Scrub. They may polish the glass. Is Bon Ami still around? I remember a cake form. Yes I'm pretty old.

Going along with the binding thought. If you place your hand on the moving sunroof see if you feel any little burps in the area where it stops. , even if the roof closes. This may be something a tech can feel and not see.

OP can you comment on the visibility, especially out the rear. I have a CX-5 and my wife's main complaint is the rear view. I have sat in a Forrester and was impressed by the amount of glass all around.
