    2013~2016 CX-5 Drain plug...Allen vs Hex

As long as the part that threads into the drain pan is the same, and you can get a good seal with a new crush washer, you can put whatever you want in there.

Have A Newbie Protege5...What to do next?

Sorry, first model year in the US was 2007, and it was over 3100 lbs. https://www.caranddriver.com/mazda/mazdaspeed-3/specs/2007/mazda_mazdaspeed-3_mazdaspeed-3_2007/286298 The 2800 lbs curb weight is for the regular Mazda3, not the Mazdaspeed3, and it was for the base model 4-door...

Have A Newbie Protege5...What to do next?

Not sure where you heard the Speed3 weighs LESS than the Protege5, but it doesn't. Curb weights: 2002 Protege5 - 2716 lbs 2008 Speed3 - 3153 lbs I'll reiterate what has been said, don't spend your money on the Protege5 unless it involves regular maintenance to keep it running. Save your cash...

    Bruce's 2021 Mazda3 Sport build

I must admit, the 3 hatch with appearance package looks pretty good. I'm a little surprised the RX7 wheels fit, too!

    Bruce's 2021 Mazda3 Sport build

I love the Proclip in my Mini. I also have added a magnet mount, which makes it so convenient. Next step is going to be wireless charging magnet mount and a bluetooth music adapter.

Mazdaspeed sway bars on Mazda5. Rear only? Or both?

If you can get both, and have the ability to drop the front subframe for installation, I would do both. Even though the front will be a pain to install, you'll get much better handling from both. Since the 5 is so tall, it likes to wallow in the corners. A bigger front sway bar will help...

Does the Protege5 come with camber bolts?

As mentioned, Camber/Caster adjustment for the front is related to the position of the upper strut mount. There is no other adjustment. The rear has traditional alignment bolts for camber. The Protege can benefit from additional camber in the front, and camber bolts will help.

    FSZE Protege5 Track Build

Sa-WEET! I wish there was more knowledge floating around like this when I had my Protege. It was all rumors and speculation about the FS-ZE engine. Glad to see you're tackling the project with success. My guess is you'll see positive gains up top with the FS-ZE manifold. I believe the 626...

MPS gen 2 dyno run. Stage 2...Not making expected bhp

More important than final numbers, is the change in numbers... What did your power look like before all those mods? Did you get a baseline dyno plot for comparison? Also, AFR of 8 sounds wicked rich.

Airbag Symbol Flashing once then 9 times

One flash, followed by nine flashes would imply airbag code 19. Need workshop manual to understand what code 19 means...

Can the 2016 Mazda3 Hatch Borla Exhaust System also fit the sedan?

The sedan is longer, and the bumper covers up the tips. I think you "could" cut the tips, but then you'd have to point them downward to avoid melting your bumper. At that point, you'd essentially have this: https://corksport.com/2014-mazda3-axle-back-exhaust-sedan.html

    which wheels were you considering?

    5x115 vs 5x114.3 debate

Yup, the hub just speeds up the alignment. The lugs seat the wheel and hold it in place.

    5x115 vs 5x114.3 debate

I wouldn't do it, especially on a car as heavy as a CX-9. Get proper wheels.

    Would 17x8 et 40 work well on a Protege5?

17x7 NC Miata wheels with 205/45-17 tires would be an excellent daily option. Lightweight, they will fit, and give you good performance when you want to tear it up depending on your tire choice.

    Would 17x8 et 40 work well on a Protege5?

Sorry, I also had 3mm spacers front and rear, so effective offset of +47. If those were 215/45-17s, I believe they would have rubbed without camber correction or fender rolling.
