    Nope afc only alters the tune while in boost. The stock ecu can handle the 440s just fine the rest of the time.

    The 440cc tune in the ssafc thread is actually a very good base tune. I thought I was gunna have more issues than I did, but it was very easy. I mostly just pulled some fuel from 0.5-1.5 psi across the board and added some to the top end. Afrs stay in the high 10s thru mid 11s the whole time.

    Stancewars was great, huge turnout, lots of fun. Just went to import faceoff last sunday too. That was a great show. It was at pacific raceways, and somebody had an fd that ran a 7.5sec quarter mile. Kinda wanted to run my car, but didnt. I'd be curious what kind of time it'd do.

    Rear main Possibly?

    Oil pressure sensor? Valve cover? Is it coolant? My coolant neck leaks if I don't use rtv on the bolts for some reason. Could it be coolant?

    Yeah, definately need an alignment. Also how much air was in that tire. I run a zero toe alignment to minimize wear and maybe gain a few mpgs in the long run. Still tracks straight and I haven't had any issues in the 5 years that I've been doing it.

    Lowering springs, progress rear swaybar, short shifter, intake, exhaust. Whatever you want! The list goes on, be creative.

    For a kind of hack temporary setup you could run hoses from the outlets that go to the throttle body. Both could be your inlet and outlet.

    Rear main Possibly?

    It's still very simple to drop the tranny without pulling the motor. Helps to have somebody around, but it doesn't weigh all that much. Ive bench pressed mine in and out by myself before.

    Is it oil for sure and not tranny fluid? Doesn't really matter, either way, the tranny is coming out. Might as well have an input shaft seal ready to go too.

    Not sure if it's not that simple. Pretty sure vacuum actuators conflict with boost.

    What Thread size is on a B&M Short Throw Shifter?

    Mp3s had an m8x1.25 shifter, while regular proteges and p5s had m10x1.25. That's probably what happened. Get an m8x1.25 knob, and take the shifter into the hardware store and test a nut on it if you're not sure.
