I was hoping that there would be sedan based on the large platform. I am now concerned about the new CX-5 forcing us to use the touchscreen to change anything, as that would suggest that all future Mazdas would do the same. Only one more week before we find out.

Mazda said the CX-5 “hybrid” would be coming n 2027 and would be based on the new SkyActiv-z engine.

I was also able to bright up the front profile. I am not sure what is going on but hopefully that looks better on July 10th.

At Mazda Germany they have a close up of the rear image and it looks like Mazda is written between the rear lights, instead of the Mazda emblem.

A German Mazda dealer mentioned a few days ago that it will be announced at either end of June or early July, with release at end of the year. The German dealers seem to get info that the US dealers do not. We may not need to wait much longer.

LOL. I myself was questioning it being a real photo. The slope of the roofline towards the rear is much greater on this image than what we saw from the camouflaged photos.

The roofline is less sloped towards the rear. The rear profile looks more like the CX70/90.
