LOL, must be some bad blood between you two.

    Wrong Brake Pads???

No problem man. The backs are different. AutoZone's website actually has the rear pads listed correctly. The part number is DG332. I just put a set of these on my car last week. Also, if anyone wants an alternative for front pads, check out Napa's Adaptive One brake pads (part number AD7624)...

2003 MSP Forged Rods OEM Pistons

Stock style wrist pins are garbage. If you are getting that deep into the motor, might as well change rods and pistons with free floating style wrist pins instead of the stock pressed style. If using the stock pistons means using stock style wrist pins, I would not go that way. I had a wrist pin...

which longer-reach, step-colder spak plug to get?

Well, that depends on what you have been running I guess. Both the zfr6f-11 & zfr6f have the same reach as the stock spark plug (pzfr6f), but they are copper/nickel and are 1 step colder. The zfr7f & zfr7f-11 are the same except the gap is different. They are all listed as extended projection.

which longer-reach, step-colder spak plug to get?

Get the ZFR7F plugs with out the -11 suffix. They will come with .32 gap instead of .44. They are available through Napa. The Napa part number is NGK 5913. That's the best option for a 1 step colder, copper/nickel plug for our cars.

    Wrong Brake Pads???

Incorrect, please try again... Look at AutoZone's website 2002 626 v6 brake pad part # is DG755. 2002 626 4 Cylinder brake pad part # is DG637. Clearly not the same set of pads. The DG755's will fit the MSP correctly. I have put them on several MSP's with no issues, they match the OE pads.

A couple questions from someone who is completely new to Mazda

Just don't use the second piece of the Injen and attach the filter directly to the maf, then you have a short ram... A BOV attaches to the cold pipe, not the intake, unless you are talking about the recirculation fitting, which is on the part of the Injen that goes from the turbo to the maf anyway.

    Found This in Cylinder #4...

Yup, been running a 626 single runner manifold on my car for years now. The powerband is actually smoother without all that vtcs and vics crap.

    Found This in Cylinder #4...

Damn. Glad I switched to a single runner 626 manifold back when I built my engine. Hopefully you don't have any scarring on your cylinder walls.

    Drilled and slotted rotors

Also, you can't really machine/resurface drilled and slotted rotors. So, they are good for one brake job

    Wrong Brake Pads???

Autozone lists the wrong pads for our cars. Did you match up the brake pads when you changed them? They are not the same as those used on the regular protg. Our rotors are bigger and have more surface area for the pad to contact. I believe our pads are the same as those used on a 2002 626 V6.

Left rear suspension lower then the rest?

Same thing happened on my MSP. Time to get new struts. I went with full coil-overs. It looks and handles great with the coil-overs, but it is a lot rougher of a ride...

    P0171 and P0090 help please

For p0090, check your fuel pressure regulator control solenoid for proper operation. If it is not working properly, it could cause both codes.
