Mazda to switch to Toyota Financial Services for loans, leases

I doubt theyd buy out Mazda just to wipe them out like that. However, if they used the acquisition to fire the awful Lexus designers and add the Mazda style/feel to their luxury line, thatd be something!

    What Kind Of Wood?

Does anyone know the part numbers for the wood trim? I*m kinda curious how much they try to charge for it.

Ha! Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Love the Reserve except the crappy....

I*ve never met a factory navy system that didn*t suck. Why not use ACP or AA?

Finally test drove a new CX-5, and was disappointed...

If you*re agnostic on performance, check out the top trim Tiguan with R line package. It was very spacious and the second most luxurious looking crossover out there after the CX-5 in this price range, imo. Remaining 2019*s have the long warranty.

Finally test drove a new CX-5, and was disappointed...

Really? Have HK in my BMW and hate it because you have to turn the volume up very high to hear any detail. I loved the Bose in my old CX-7, especially with Centerpoint. Guess that goes to show that stereo opinions are all subjective!

Why is Mazda-Australia so much more successful than Mazda-USA?

With the exception of the shoddy US dealer network (my closest dealer is joint with Nissan - yuck), I don*t see how any of those things would be any different in Australia. Regardless, my point of this thread is wondering out loud why Mazda USA is so poorly run. They*re doing very little to...

Why is Mazda-Australia so much more successful than Mazda-USA?

Just read this article, where Mazda ranks #1 in service in Australia. Combine that with the fact that CX-5 is Australia*s best-selling SUV, they must be doing something right down under. I realize the markets are different, but still. You don*t have to look beyond their awful marketing...

    Mazda's 1'st Electric Vehicle - Looks like a CX-5

Exactly. The biggest marketing coup of this century is this idea that electric cars are *green.* The ads are conveniently leaving out the photos of coal plants billowing pollutants, haha.

Is this deal reasonable or ....

That*s close to the best price I*ve seen advertised online. If the state allows it, all dealers add a lame fee. $349 is not bad. They*re as high as $600 in VA. If you want to try to save a few hundred on the sales price, find another dealer advertising a better price and ask them to beat.

    Mazda's 1'st Electric Vehicle - Looks like a CX-5

Lol what terrible journalism. That*s obviously a CX-30 body. You can tell by the huge plastic wheel arches.

    2019 CX-5 Signature, Seat discomfort?

A lot of new cars have hard seats. My BMW seats are rock hard. Like mattresses, it*s just a matter of personal preference. I have back issues and hate the feeling of sinking into a seat, so I prefer the stiffer support on the Mazda*s.

2017~2025 Best way to sell new cx-5

Facebook marketplace. Don*t sell to a reseller (dealership, CarMax, Carvana) because they*re gonna hold back a couple thousand on their offer in order to flip it and make money.

2017~2025 Mazda Sales.... Not So Good

As far as corporate America is concerned, I dont find that behavior as irritating because theyre only eating into their own profits and spending the extra on R&D or facilities is a decent investment. The USG, however, is throwing away taxpayer money on things with far worse upside. Hence my...

2017~2025 Mazda Sales.... Not So Good

Yep, as a government employee, I despise when my management comes around begging for ideas to spend the remaining budget on near the end of the fiscal year. The idiotic mentality is that if we don*t spend 100% of the budget, then we won*t be able to justify a similar budget the following year...

2017~2025 Mazda Sales.... Not So Good

Agreed. In terms of US cars, the Chrysler Group are the only ones worthy of a consumer red flag. FWIW I*m pretty convinced Toyota will make a move for Mazda within the next five years, which could be good news.

    Screen Protector

Look, I*m not pretending to be an expert on screens. But it*s well established that glossy screens appear sharper and more vibrant, and that*s why companies have gone to great lengths to develop anti-reflection coatings in order to eliminate the #1 drawback to glossy screens.

    Screen Protector

    Thanks looks great!

    Screen Protector

Same way glossy photos or TV screens produce a sharper image. Matte antireflection finishes add a coarseness to the image.

    Screen Protector

Based on the CX-5*s I*ve test driven, the screen isn*t a harsh matte, but it definitely isn*t glossy. Some sort of antireflection finish.
