Yup...i just let myself be make the judgement on when to turn the light on/off =p I also have HID Fog and I hate it when I forget to turn them off too. I am not suppose to leave the fog on because it drains alot of battery when turning both HID on at the same time, as least that's what I am told.

i had the same problem when my car was lowered with coils. Now that it's back to stock it doesn't have that problem anymore though.
