A guy posted pics of his 1st gen 5 with Dodge Neon SRT dual exhaust setup on it. If I remember correctly, the set doesn't have a muffler but has baffles in the tips. May be louder than what you want, especially if you're not using the Neons resonator with it.

Also 235/40 has been ran with no issues on the RX8 wheel. Again, that's 50mm offset.

No rubbing on the rx8 wheels w/ 50mm offset. Try coming down to 225/40. 215/40 will be pretty short and may not protect your wheels as well. Maybe next month, I'll be putting the stockers back on.

Yes, I have H&R springs as well. The ride is very similar to.stock, and that's with 225/40-18s. Not jarring but it handles like it's on rails now.

You only have to rent a spring compressor to disassemble the unit. But since you will not be using your original springs or struts, Its not necessary at all. The H&Rs are short enough that you won't need a compressor when assembling them with your new struts. Don't forget to get new strut mounts...

So much easier if you're replacing the struts and springs together. You don't have to compress the old set for disassembly and you don't have to compress the new H&R for the new struts either.

Megan coils give a lower drop than H&R but you can get lower with a coilover setup

Yep my 2010 is definitely a pain. Not a 30 second job. Oh and the under tray was removed after being partially destroyed by a deer in the roadway.

Changed out fog light. The yellow gave up the ghost. I just put them in earlier this year (shrug). On the bright side, they were easier to do than the headlights. Unbelievable!

I heard it. doesn't sound bad at all! Interior noise might be an issue on long trips.

Thanks for taking the time to post this! Cant listen to the clips because it's too early. later today though. I have to clean my tip and felt its easier with it off the car than on. Lots of carbon. I'm using a solution of brasso and mother's metal polish.
