Love the feel of the short shifter, thanks. The only minor issue I have with it is, the stock one has a metal cylinder that holds the shift boot in place. Any suggestions on how to make it stay in place?

Just installed an OBX short shifter I got from one of you guys here. Puts a pep in her step. I feel like I come out of first much faster.

What is best used for grease on the shifter? I got litium white grease but the consistency is not the same as what was on there previously.

local, I think the online guys are good if you're ordering all four. Or sometimes TR has them cheaper when they need to clear stock.

Glad to hear. It was between that and synchromesh. I couldn't find the latter. I just have to replace my clutch now and it started slipping about 2 weeks ago so I can't say I really feel the difference.
