I would try cleaning those drain plugs out first to see if that prevents leaking. They are not to hard to clean out. Get a trombone cleaner to do it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B324WXWM/ That is what is used on Miatas to clean out the drains for the convertible roof.

I get a 'jumpy' speedo and tach when first starting the car and the temp has been in the 20's F (or below). Basically the speedo and tach both jump up to where they should be and then drop back down to zero. Once the car warms up everything is fine. Anyone else experience this?

If you pass with it, it is most likely because it wasn't noticed. I guess you could... clear codes, put the non fouler in, run until all OBDII checks are complete, remove the non fouler (as close as possible to the inspection station), then get it inspected.

I have only replaced front calipers. I have used Wearever - Advance auto Raybestos - Rock Auto I have not had issues with either brand.
